Hi, I am a 26 year-old female and have been experiencing hair loss at the frontal area over the last few months. I have had quite a lot of stress recently since the grad school started but I am not sure if that is the reason. I was told about Rogaine. I was wondering if you think it would help? If yes, how long do you think i should use it? Does it have any side effects that you have heard of? Is there anything else that you suggest I could do?

You have been repeatedly reassured about HIV, hair loss, and HIV testing on both this and the HIV community forum. Mouth sores can sometimes occur in advanced AIDS but not as a symptom of early HIV ifnection.
Feel free to get tested as often as you like. But the primary health need reflected in this and your other posts seems to be emotional.

You are always welcome here but I agree with Mollyrae, the Men's Health Forum or even the Urology Forum may be a better Forum for you.
I would offer you some suggestions but I don't really understand your problem or question. A shower or soap should not cause pain in a healthy "private" area. When you talked about healing I do not understand what needs to be healed. So you may feel more comfortable explaining all the details on a Men's Forum.
