exercise

Avatar f tn Over time, exercise increases your energy level, not decrease it. A 2007 report published in “The University of Georgia Research Magazine” noted that regular exercise can significantly increase energy levels while fighting fatigue. The report analyzed 70 previous studies and found that all participants benefit from regular physical activity. Individuals who dealt with chronic conditions or serious diseases such as cancer reported an increase in energy when they were working out regularly.
Avatar f tn After reading daily all the challenges everyone is going through, the common "I can't take it" statement, I came upon this article in the Men's Health magazine from the doc next door (Dr. Jeffrey T Junig) who advises in the doctor forum of addiction on medhelp. His story has truly inspired me and I hope that it will all of you as well. WARNING !! It can be quite disturbing to some, but it makes you think...if HE overcame all of that.....then surely we can as well.
Avatar n tn run at 6mph for 2 minutes then run at 3mph or rest for 2 minutes) will be more effective in losing weight than if I ran or walked at a steady pace.Is there any truth to this>?
Avatar m tn by the way, i've never taken melatonin just read an article about it in muscle&fitness magazine, and thats my basis for the above statements.

393685 tn?1425812522 So on a serous note: Well, since I wrote that post / poll last month on what we need to do for awareness, I guess I should try something. I just hit 'send' to the editor of a national fitness and health magazine. Its based in St Paul Mn, my state. January is past due for any national publisher, but hopefully I'll soon find out, if their interested in the near future. Will keep you posted on what they say.
634733 tn?1316625992 I am so shocked the awful article on obesity and MS has been published in MS Matters the magazine published by the UK MS Society!! Giving credibility to another piece of reserach that has not been validated in any way, shape of form - I am just too annoyed and angry to say anymore. For those who have not read the article see this thread: http://www.medhelp.org/posts/Multiple-Sclerosis/Obesity-and-MS/show/1101437?

Avatar f tn Peak 8 actually stimulates the growth hormone in the body. I encourage you to visit Dr Mercola’s site to learn more about Peak 8 fitness because I personally feel that it is one of the best ways to exercise, especially considering the speed at which you can lose fat and build muscle.  I highly recommend you read this article and watch the videos on the page.
Avatar f tn My children recently had chicken pox ( they do not vaccinate against it here in the UK) They have both recovered and are back at school but it has been a fortnight and my six year old regularly seems lethargic (which is very much out of character) and complains of head aches. He is fit, fully hydrated and otherwise healthy. Is it possible that he has some sort of post viral fatigue and pains, does anyone else have any experience of this?
Avatar m tn But be warned that you do not get repetitive strain injury in your hands. This has been reported on UK TV with a man who masturbated excessively. Best wishes.
