Avatar f tn I had unprotected sex with 2 men about a week and a half apart. One of these men I had anal sex with. My first OB was entirely around my anal area, nothing in the vaginal area. Does this mean I got herpes from the man I had anal sex with?
Avatar m tn Yes it would be possible, but rare. Yes men can get tested but in men it is not the easiest infection to test for. Overall I see no real reason to worry about Trich.
Avatar f tn Hai....after sex men release the sperm in to the women curvical muscuos so these total sperm reach the fallopian tubes or some sperm leak out the vagina..
Avatar m tn Syphilis is rare in developed countries, in the US about 20000new cases a year mostly in men who have sex with men. Herpes is more common. For more info on herpes please post in that forum also.

Avatar f tn My gynecologist only answered my health related questions and not my sexual related questions. 1. Is my vagina always going to smell like this? (You know like a really strong b.v. smell) It has gotten a lot better and now is barely noticeable but we women know what a normal smell is and still, it isnt. 2. When does the painful urination ends?
Avatar m tn hi I'm from china, 2 weeks ago i performed oral sex on a gay men and i am so regret and scared now because he is very much like HIV+. I intended to just lick his penis a little but he then pressed on my head and tried stick his penis deep in several times. i resisted and we stopped. i didn't think his penis reached my throat otherwise i would have gagged but i didn't. the whole process lasted no more than 1 minute i think.
Avatar m tn We had protected sex for about 7 months before stopping the usage of condoms, though oral sex was a regular part of our sex lives. I am uncircumcised, and have had no symptoms of anything hpv related. Here are the questions I have regarding hpv transmission, and future disclosure: 1. My guess is that my first exposure to hpv was orally, and it is possible I wouldn't have come into contact genitally until we stopped condom usage (though obviously condoms aren't foolproof).
Avatar m tn I have read several posts but had to ask for myself. I received oral sex for about 1 or 2 minutes at most without protection. I have not had any Gonorrhea symptoms (no burning, no discharge), but about 1 week after I started to have some discomfort in my testicles. They are not swallon, nor are they tender to the touch and the discomfort I also feel in my groin area. This discomfort is not all of the time, just certain movements I make or positions I lay in. Still no discharge or burning.
Avatar m tn so not sure how I would have been exposed to it... and my questions are based on just this exposure... I have had situations before not amounting to sex (and always I have never seen any visible warts.. and this is the only exposure where sex was performed...and again no visible warts or anything).. anyway my questions are based on just this particular exposure... Secondly, the girl had no visible warts or anything as far as i remember and had pretty smooth skin..
Avatar n tn Anyway, my sexual dalliances with men typically include oral (give and receive), rimming (give), kissing, and anal sex (insertive partner). I use a condom every time, and in some instances I've noticed blood on the condom but the condom has never broken. Only a couple of times have I had unprotected sex for a couple of thrusts in which no blood or semen was present at all. I know that complicates things.
Avatar m tn Your urologist won't find anything. It's most likely because: "Oral sex was linked to less common infectious causes of NGU in heterosexual men and men who have sex with men. The researchers include Catriona Bradshaw, MD, and colleagues." That's from an austrailian study done by Catriona Bradshaw, MD Therefore, if you have one of the less common infectious causes, it's won't be detected with the tests for more commom causes (i.e. Gono, and chlamydia).
Avatar m tn Hello, I am a male that in the past have performed oral sex on men and rec. Not many times but I have swallowed and got cum in my mouth. I have been really worried lately about HIV/Herpes. I have spoken to other men and they do not seem to worry at all. I know not all people tell the truth but this is really the only sex I've had with other men. Can some else that has performed oral during their life time comment on this please. I really appreciate your time. Thank you.
Avatar m tn I have a couple questions regarding hpv genital warts that I have not found answered elsewhere. 1. Does hpv stay in the skin tissue, or does it get into the blood as well? The reason I ask is because mine have appeared at the very base of my penis, or even a cm away from the base. I assume this is because I always wear a condom so it protected my penis (thank goodness). However, I've read some places that the virus is in the blood?
Avatar n tn i am a 22 years old boy , i have made several attempts to stop the masturbation , no results i found . actually i like to have sex with men only , but this is very bad , i need to be a gentleman . can give the suggestion or treatment for this ? i hope your precious response. thank you.
Avatar f tn If I am not mistaken, your questions have been answered multiple times. Circumcision reduces the risk of HIV if you had sex with an HIV+ partner. However, it does not eliminate it. Further, you have already been advised by users on this forum to go for testing? Have you done it? Do you have your results? Repeated questions will do nothing for your anxiety. Nor, are they allowed in the forum.
Avatar m tn Hi Doctor, Thanks for your time. I will try and keep this as short as possible. 5 months ago I had unprotected oral sex performed on me by a man. I did not ejaculate. 2 months ago I very briefly preformed unprotected oral sex on a transexual escort/ adult performer. They did not ejaculate. Am I at risk from these activities? Is oral sex a Realistic Hiv risk? Since then I have got a few painful infected pimples on my bottom which I have read can be a sign of HIV.
Avatar f tn How high of a risk is unprotected oral sex? I'm sorry for so many questions. I did have unprotected oral sex with the last partner I was with.
Avatar n tn It is difficult to tell what is going on with your urine test. Following unprotected oral sex men can get non-gonococcal urethritis (NGU) which can mimic a urinary tract infection. I suggest you ask your doctor about this possiblity. If there are follow-up questions, please post them here only , not on the HIV site. I have said all there is to say about HIV and your lack of risk for HIV.

Avatar n tn All your questions will be quickly answered by an HIV test. I don't think your risks were high, but definitely enough to warrant a check-up, especially since it sounds like you have lymphadenopathy.
Avatar n tn K, first question. I know that genital warts CAN display as a single bump or as a cluster, but, in usual terms, does it usually display as a single bump or in a cluster (there'll be at least a few of them, especially for the first outbreak)? Second, if genital warts can start out as a single bump, I know it can either grow, multiply, or disappear but what would it usually do if left untreated? Does it usually grow/multiply or disappear?
