Hi Recently I regretably had sex with a sex worker. I have NO symtoms and I used a condom all times through oral and sex. I went for a test anyway at a clinic to be sure & they tested for everything apart from herpes! If chlamydia could be transmitted, HIV could be as well. In general, men who have sex with men are at elevated risk of HIV compared with heterosexual men and women; your sexual attractions (which are biological) and your decisions about how you go about expressing those attractions (which are largely in your control) will determine how high the risk is.

That said, if there indeed is lymph node inflammation, the timing is good for syphilis, which can be acquired by oral sex and is extremely common in men who have sex with men (MSM). OTOH, if syphilis, you probably would have had an obvious penile sore (chancre). No other STD is likely. All things considered, my guess is nothing is wrong and you have no STD from the encounter 3 months ago. If your syphilis blood test is negative, you needn't worry further.

Without symptoms (visible warts) and without a test for men, it is impossible for men to say they have HPV. But you should consider yourself high risk due to the number of partners. Some people have warts under the skin which are not visible. High risk strains that can cause cancer do not show any symptoms. You should also call some of your former partners to see if they ever had a bad pap result before they met you, while they dated you and soon after.

In my country (norway), one of the sites offering advice says there is a risk of getting hiv through oral sex, and that people should be careful, but on this medhelp site people and experts say it is no chance!
