My experience, I was given medroxyprogesterone to induce my period as well, and I didn't start bleeding until about 2-3 days after finishing the 10 days. However, this is my third time taking it, and I actually started bleeding about 8 days into it this time. So it may differ!
It probably wouldn't hurt just to give your doctor a call though, and just tell them it hasn't worked and you feel nauseated.
Oh forgot to mention I am also medroxyprogesterone to induce my period. After my last pill I started to spot 3 days later, but not a regular period until 5-6 days later.

Did your doctor prescribe you anything to induce a period? I actually have to take Provera (medroxyprogesterone is another name for it) every month to induce a period or I won't get mine.

My OB prescribed me Medroxyprogesterone and advised me to take it if I went longer than 3 months without a period. I took my first course of the meds in early April of 2016 and got my period right after my last dose. Had a period in May with no help, missed June and July so I Started my Medroxyprogesterone again in August and started my period later that same month. Missed September, but as of October and without needing the medroxyprogesterone I have been getting my period every month.

If you were my patient, I would advise you that Medroxyprogesterone acetate doesn't help you get pregnant. It only helps you have a period if you are not ovulating on your own. If you want to get pregnant, you should probably ask your doctor for a medication such as Clomid which will help you ovulate too.

I have started a new job recently, and have had a few financial and personal woes of late, due to bad luck, so it could be stress. Additionally, I often have extremely vivid dreams, which might also be the culprit.
i have always had irregular period cycle length. last cycle the obgyn prescribed me with medroxyprogesterone for 10 days (16th to 25th). after two days i got my period which was comparatively light and lasted for 3 days. i usually have a normal flow which lasts for 5 days. this cycle i have been spotting since the last three days which began on the 14th day. i have never had mid cycle bleeding before and i'm really really scared.
