I am a 60-year old male. I have been treated for hypertension since my 20's and high cholesterol since my 40's. My numbers were in normal range under medication and I felt great, no symptoms. Three years ago, my doctor was considering lowering the dosage on my meds, but suggested that I go for a coronary calcium test first. My score was over 1400. I immediately went on a dry vegan diet (Caldwell Esselstyn, China Study, Forks Over Knives).

Drugs and herbal medicines may not always help with weight loss. The best way to lose belly fat is a combination of diet control or dietary modification and exercise. Unless you restrict your calorie intake, you're not going to lose belly fat. You should eat a diet rich in fibre and eat whole grains, fruits and vegetables. Exercise should be such that is as per your liking so that the chances of sticking to the exercise regime are greater. Focus on calorie-burning exercises.
Hi, I'm a historian sorry if this is kind of an odd question. I've come across an account by a Spanish priest describing a 'miracle' that happened in 1600's in one of the colonial possessions near the equator. He described a woman losing her eyesight towards her middle ages, then years later regaining partial sight again. He described her regained sight this time though as something more adept or better when it is dark or at night time.
Ok so I'm 31+2 and today my s/o and I are leaving for our trip to go see our families and I'm so nervous. I've never met his parents before because they live 1600 miles away. Welcome. You don't have to worry about tx through Medicare and you certainly don't have to pay $6500. You can tx with generic harvoni for less than $1600. There are two ppl who are helping HepC patients all over the world to tx without paying an arm and a leg.
Thank you for your imput. I see the endo Mon. & will ask about the pituitary being checked. I am taking 5 tums= 1600 mg. calcium carbonate a day with .025 cacitriol (Vit. D) one in the morning & one at afternoon. My calcium came back 9.0 yeh after struggling from the 7.6's. Is the ionized calcium measured through urine? If so, it just came back 377 with the norm 42-353. The Crea Ur Cal was 1.1 with norm 0.6-2.5.
I should be now 5 weeks 5 days. Last night I had started to have cramping and reddish brown bleeding when I wiped in the bathroom. Today the bleeding seems to be getting less, if anything it has turned light brown. I am still cramping. Please anyone out there experience this and everything turned out normal. I have already had one miscarriage, I am terrified this is going to be another one.
at the latest you were UND. at 8 weeks. It is not the ideal marker they used in the trial for compiling the SVR stats .however still a good response ands remember you may ave become UND. at week 4 +1 day.
If you were looking at " stats" only then obviously that would put one much closer to the 95% than the 60%.
Possibly ..don't get to caught up in the exact numbers as everyone is different and at this point being UND.
my sister is eperincing preassure in the back of her head, sinus preasure, abdominal discomfort, fatigue...she can hardley bring her self to eat....She keeps going to the doctor but they keep telling her that she's fine...can. Cortisol levels are not my strong area, but I do know that cortisol should be higher in the morning, as we prepare for the day and lower in the evening as we prepare for sleep. The last test you list is obviously over range, but I'm not sure exactly what it indicates. Sorry about that. Has your doctor given you any indication?

Im suppose to be staring clomid and my doctor said it would cost me up to 1600 is this information correct because i thougth that the medication was cheap could somebody give me feed back on how much?
i think even tho if we take the alternative route and LFT and PCR`s all come back in good numbers....this is still difficult to prove its because of the 'natural"..TX...you know yourself how insidus this disease can be....in order to prove the natural way ,there has to be world wide longer in depth studies...what you think?
She was having a little pain so they had her come in 3 days later and rechecked her levels, they were 1600. The lady she spoke with on the phone said that things didn't look good and to expect to miscarry. They thought she was 6 weeks, but could only see a "small" sac during her u/s. She is a nervous wreck, crying not sleeping and thinking every little pain is the beginning of a m/c. She went again today and had her levels checked (48 hrs after the 1600 level) and she is at 2250.
The lowest added cost estimates I got for the Symfony IOL was about $1800-1900 in my area, for a Tecnis Toric monofocal IOL (which is what I ended up choosing) the added cost was $1333 in comparison. Those are costs in addition to the standard cataract surgery costs after insurance. The added cost included the extra surgeon fees as well as the IOL cost itself, in my case for the toric IOL is was split about $600 for the IOL and about $700 for the extra surgeon fees.
1/1600 for DS and 1/24,000 for trisomy 18. So I'm HAPPY about that! So I'm choosing no CVS or Amnio. (whew! what a relief !!
