early this year i developed skin rashes, it started on my stomach then later on it appears in my arms,then all over my body. the rashes are red big wheal and it is very itchy. i went to the hospital and the doctor said that i have urticaria, she prescribed me a medicine called fexofenadine. the med is very helpful everytime the rashes appears, i just take the medicine and the rashes will gone but i have to take it everyday, i dont know if this medicine have side effects.
The fore skin of the penis is circumsized and I feel rashes and small cuts around the penis just below the head. These rashes and cuts are more pronounced specially after the intercourse, as I start feeling pain and burning during the erosl time. Some time even I see small amount of blood from the rashes (which is created within that 3-4 mins time of intercourse). It takes 2-3 days to get healed/satteled after applying some wound medicine like Polifex.
Can you suggest some better solution?
Thanks Tammy. I saw a dermatologist yesterday & saw another dr. 2 wks. ago & both said the rashes are not from meds., from outside allergens. The rashes are only on exposed skin (face, neck, arms). I wonder if I get the Avonex that i'd have to mix, if it would be better with the rashes. The drs. think if it were the med., i'd have rashes all over which i don't. Is it easy to mix the med.? I love that the shots are ready & only once a wk. Thanks Tammy!
From last few days we are noticing few rashes on my sons leg before there was only one of its kind but now its spreading. It is initially pink then turn red and finally brown. And the size also increases as it turns the colours. It is little raised and rough but my son is never scratching in that area. Can you please guide us.
hi, i have rashes under my armpit, i had it over for a year, i tried medicine cream called triamcinolone Acetonide. i been using it til now, but the rashes are still there, but the irritation was not as bad as before, . i stopped using deodorant, i had two rash spots then i used the medicine then those two went away, but new one occurs at someplace else, like on my lower arm, i want to know how to get rid of these rashes, and i wonder if this is a symptom of hepatitis b?

as of today dec 26, i am still having rashes on my back like 10-15 of thems mostly on the left side. and my family doctor said those arent hiv rashes.
1) can a family doctor determine whether it's a hiv rash or not?
2) my rashes still appearing on the 5.5 to 6 weeks after the incident! is it possible (ars) for them to appear that late?

if it was the NuvaRing you would've gotten symptoms right away. If you're having rashes and it hurts down in your lower regions you need to get to a gyno asap it could be anything from a severe yeast infection to an STD. GL and I certainly hope it's nothing serious.
For about three weeks now I've been getting these little red bumps on my hands,legs and sometime in back.
They sometimes appear in small Cluster headaches and sometimes are single bumps here and there. They
are itchy. It often looks like I've been attacked by a bugs. Now last two days i have a fever. It may be caused by BUG ? We have a bed bug problem in house. Generally the rashes disappearing two or three days.
I got sick later the same night as my test with a 102 temp and chills, sinus congestion and all that and got better with medicine after 5 days or so but then started with these rashes on Dec. 4th. So my rashes started then about 5 weeks after my exposure, is this too late to be an ARS rash??? I am on high blood pressure medicine & I take water pills. I noticed my knuckles on both hand turned very dark . I alerted my Doctor & he told me to stop the blood pressure med & just take the water pills every other day. The doctor said I might be yurinating too much . Still not sure if it is a side effect from the blood pressure medicine. So now I wait to see if my knuckles will go back to my normal color.

I have been experiencing skin rashes on my torso, under upper arm and just under the arm pit. It has been going on for about 3 1/2 months now. It's very itchy and the red bumps are small and are in large groups. It tends be worse after sweating, showering and sleeping. At first I thought that it was our hot tub, but I'm not sure that's what it is. I'm sure it is an allergic reaction to something, I just can't figure out what it is.
I have had a stupid drunken encounter with a sexworker in Thailand It was penetrative hero (i was insertive) twice when I sobered up the next day I noticed rashes on her skin. So I got her tested she was HIV+ so I initiated 3X ARV at the 20 Hr mark. 2 weeks after I have ARS (night sweats, flu like symptoms, swollen lymph nodes) so I got a quantitive PCR which came back negative.
I think both of you guys could get a prescription for a steroid skin cream such as Triamcinolone .1%. It's really good for rashes. But in Shearn184's case, It really sounds like your problem could be solved by just switching to another benzodiazepine.
I wouldn't pacifically ask for Xanax. Doctors hate it when we do their jobs for them. I would just ask for an alternative to Ativan. He may know of something that would work better for you.
