I should see if my Dr.would refer me back to phys. ther. for my back to see about trying one for it. It's worth a shot. Anything better than more drugs or surgery. Thanks for jogging my memory. I'll call in the AM to make an appt.

There are time where I move when im laging down or when I get up it feels like my lower back wants to pop and I try to but it doesnt and its like a sharp pain. Its very different from a backache from baby.

Avatar n tn See if getting a massage therapist with good anatomical understanding and pain management techniques brings some relief. Any concerns should first be cleared by your doctor. One is abdominal prostate massage and the other is anal peripheral prostate massage. Google the above words and if it resonate with you, do it, or discard it. you have not mentioned whether you have done with your fingers your with some device.

I will surely consult this therapy treatment from doctors as my bro is not getting satisfactory results from epidural as pain persists after few days. I hope this will help him.
Avatar n tn You also need a good sleeve and gauntlet to help keep the swelling down while you travel. They can also show you some manual drainage techniques and some pretty wicked bandaging to get the swelling down.

Avatar n tn I did not develop Lymphodema after my cancer treatment but because I was having radiation to the bowel, I was seeing a physio for prevention techniques to stop it happening and if it did happen how to manage it. (I had my pelvic lymph nodes removed during my hysterectomy). If you see your doctor and get him to refer you to a physiotherapist that is experienced in lymphatic drainage massage they will be able to show you and treat you with massage that you can actually do at home.

My hands shake now all the time and the pain in unexplained still after not working for 5 months. My physical therapist believes that it is a sympathetic nervous system problem but doesnt think i should still be in so much pain. My family Dr. doesnt know anything about that, my orthapedic Dr.

Anyone heard of these? The meds I take are Prisatiq (for depression) Klonopin (for anxiety-but my dr. swears this will "relax" my muscles too), Norco & he just added Stadol NS.

Avatar m tn ve seen a head specialist and had a mri scan, and everything came back normal. they just told me it was a tension headache. they gave me pills what had no effect. i've been to a massage specialist which didn't ease it. so i'm at a loose end to wot it is or any i can do to ease it or get rid. it feels like pressure all over my head like it going to explode not massively painful just more a numb pain.
Avatar f tn I take tylonel for my pain, got one of those maternity pillows for comfort, turn the air on and a fan (I'm always so hot), sometimes I even being an ice pack to bed, I'll play Disney movies or soundscape music to sleep with, try a warm shower or bath, make sure your wearing comfy clothes (I try to stick to my undies now that I'm 35 wks), I'll often need pepcid or tums for heart burn, ask your honey to massage or gently rub your back and his as you fall asleep.
