I hear stories of short term (failed for me) and also what sound like lifers- what's the average time and best methods for killing this crap? Im so sick and tired of being so sick and tired! Please understand my compulsion to not lie here dying, doing nothing- while I wait on the system to help, all the while suffering indescribable pain, neurological issues, losses and fatigue? I think not- anything is better than lying here to turn MS, ALS, dementia, or Lymetarded. I'm really cold. Live in warm lake Tahoe but go to the beach I'm okay for an hour then cold. I wake up go from my beds blanket to under the blanket that now has a home on the couch due to me being so cold. I'm 11+5. I see everyone's hot!! What I would do to even feel warm!! I'm cold like 80% of the day...

I'm just the opposite, HOT ALL THE TIME! 5 weeks 4 days and I'm wearing shorts in that weather lol.

It's about a hr and a half/ 2 hour drive. My husband is the one who is worried but I didn't even really think about it till he said it. And I got a little nervous lol. I figured if I dressed him accordingly the baby should be okay. I wasn't planning on putting the baby in the snow it would probably just be from the car to the house or resturant etc that he'd be in the cold and even then I would have the car seat covered so he didn't get a big drift of cold air.

Is it safe to take a driving trip to Lake Tahoe a month after surgery, or is that too high of an elevation? I presently live at 1,000 feet elevation.

So, went for a drive along Lake Tahoe with my friend, stopping here and there. One park at Eagle Falls had the most incredible views of Emerald Bay and Fannette Island, and we ended up walking down the one mile trail to the lake; 500 feet below the park. All the big live oak trees with Spanish moss. The history and traditions of this city are fascinating. And although the city is famous for ghost tours, I don't buy into that, but love wandering the old cemeteries, trying to imagine the life that person lived. I could spend month's in that city and still want to learn and see more. But my fav place is home. The gulf coast of Alabama. One day, I'll live there again.

If you live in Utah a Salt Lake City Neurologist might be helpful although I agree with the others about massage therapy. I especially agree with the comment about peppermint oil! My niece gets excruciating headaches and peppermint oil always helps bring the pain down although it doesn't completely remove the pain.

I love Oregon, favorite time share vacation for entire family, we stay in the Welches area, ski Mt Hood, take the kids to the Enchanted Forest, I like the Candy Factory, the drive to see all the falls is beautiful. The Salmon river is fantastic place to picnic and hike. Last time we were there we drove into Portland to the zoo, and caught a hugh festival going on and of course the winerys, Never a dull moment in Oregon .
