Avatar f tn A massage would be great. I go to work take our son to school pick him up run errons with my son and go home help him with hus homework take him a shower cook and clean the house by myself my whole day is gone and when I'm ready to lay down and rest my husband always wants a massage every single night. How I wish he'd offer to massage me its the least he can do and it'd help me more than anything.
1583834 tn?1296685960 Aromatherapy, massage, acupuncture, reiki anything that can help with symptoms great. As far as helping the disease these are all anecdotal. Most have been scientifically studied. I have tried most. I do use hypnosis for stress and pain management. Exercise such as yoga is known to help symptoms as well.
Avatar f tn You need to have a diagnosis of some kind in order to apply. Even though you haven't been diagnosed with MS, you could stress a different component of your illness that you are experiencing. For example, I had a friend apply for SSD benefits when she was diagnosed with Chronic Fatige Syndrome, she had to stress the 'depressive part' of her illness to get her benefits. A diagnosis of MS does not itself qualify you for benefits.
Avatar n tn Hi, I am a 26 year-old female and have been experiencing hair loss at the frontal area over the last few months. I have had quite a lot of stress recently since the grad school started but I am not sure if that is the reason. I was told about Rogaine. I was wondering if you think it would help? If yes, how long do you think i should use it? Does it have any side effects that you have heard of? Is there anything else that you suggest I could do?

Avatar m tn I wear condom through out massage. After massage we had sex while the lady was on top. After some moment the lady found condom has broken. I saw the condom and it was completely broken. I rush to the bathroom to clean it up. before clean I had urine and I clean my penis. She also did the same with her vagina. I asked that lady if she has any medical issues and she replied no. she said its ok, its happens.
Avatar f tn Obviously, you are under a ton of stress right now, and in my experience with anxiety and stress it can make us feel both emotionally and physically spent. SSRIs like Celexa can take weeks for you to feel it's benefits. In my experience in taking medications like these, I usually notice side effects for the first few weeks or so and they eventually subside. With me, it took a good month or so start to feel the benefits of the medication.
750120 tn?1252455030 t had any problems either before or during tx. You might go for a relaxing massage rather than a deep tissue one. Massage therapy does have detox benefits so drink lots of water AFTER to help flush them out. Money well spent in my opinion........
Avatar n tn Yep, I've read this. Didn't quite believe it when someone mentioned this to me but it's true. I guess it helps keep your prostate from getting large which makes it more prone to cancer. So, are you having these massages for prevention?
Avatar f tn On Ess's advice I'm trying this again with more clear wording. :) I hadn't meant to imply "alternative to DMD" but additional therapies. Does anyone use any *complementary* therapies? Have you had postive results with them? I'm asking because the TN and occipital neuralgia pain had gotten so bad I was having a lot of muscle tension in my neck and back from the pain. I decided some massage therapy couldn't hurt and might help.

But I give massage in first trimester I walk then through it. Also some massage therapist might ask for dr note.
Avatar f tn http://www.medhelp.org/posts/HIV-Prevention/Symptoms-or-not/show/2913786#post_13971122. You are testing for a no risk situation. If this was the only 'exposure' that you had, i would expect a negative in all your tests.
8761100 tn?1399725825 I'm having contractions that have been brought on by stress. My life situations are actually stressful, not just me being emotionally pregnant. My dad just found out he has a rare cancer, my husband is never home due to work, we are not able to pay all of our bills due to me being out of work for maternity leave... which means we don't have funds to do activities that would relieve stress like a massage or pedicure.
Avatar m tn Magnesium benefits? Where should we start? With reduced risk of cognitive decline? Or maybe… * Promotion of strong bones in postmenopausal women * Heart health support * Management of C-reactive protein (a key marker of inflammation) * Maintenance of tooth enamel Clearly, magnesium is a nutrient you don't want to get caught short on. Especially because magnesium has an important type 2 diabetes connection, which in turn has a gallstone connection.
Avatar f tn J- I have been singing the praises of massage here for some time. The expense does add up but the benefits of true medical massage is amazing.
