750120 tn?1252455030 d fantasized about a massage while on the HCV meds because of how sore my muscles got all of the time (felt like I'd been beated up with a ball bat). However, I've never had one and it seems pretty intimate as someone is touching all over you (the prospect of that is scary to me). I've heard that poisons that collect in ones muscles can be released during a massage and that it can get you feeling real sick afterward.

1583834 tn?1296685960 Alex is spot on with her answer - a healthy diet will make us feel better - improved cholesterol, heart function, skin tone, etc are all benefits of a healthy diet. And all of that can make us feel better. But none of that will change the fact that we have MS. I am a big advocate of finding complementary therapies to use along with the traditional MS treatments. I have regular massage and acupuncture. I love aromatherapy, too.

1216231 tn?1272475704 ve heard of that blood-type diet, but I doubt it has any real bearing on how much of what type of meat we should eat. Also, there's just no way under the sun I'd ever become a vegetarian. Just look at our teeth. The incisors and canines are meant for tearing while the back ones are flat and only meant for mashing. http://bit.ly/d4jhyt If we were meant to be herbivores, we would not have incisors or canines.
Avatar f tn At 83, it's really hard to say if the benefits would outweigh the risks, unless, of course, you're family enjoys longevity past the 80's. The implantation of an ICD is pretty simple, and the rehab is pretty short. The main problem with the new implant is keeping a patient from pulling the wires loose before they have had a chance to heal into the wall of heart.
