lyrica

Avatar f tn I have had another child since and I was taken off lyrica. I has no problems with my 3rd pregnancy. I just wanted to google lyrica and miscarriage to see. My heart stopped when I seen your post. It might have been a hundred other things that caused it but I feel in my heart that me taking lyrica cause me to lose my child.. I was really drowsy and on a high dose when it happened.
Avatar n tn I have seen that there is a risk to the male sperm when on Lyrica. Has anyone had experience with this? I am wondering if it is worth the risk.
18717293 tn?1467235215 I am 13 wks pregnant with my fourth child. I was told to stop taking my Lyrica during the pregnancy. I am suffering from some pretty severe withdrawl and very concerned about the baby. In need of some help!!!
Avatar f tn Perhaps you should have asked your doctor for a 100mg supply of Lyrica. I have used Lyrica for nearly a decade with excellent results. Neurontin and many other pain meds did nothing for me and I absolutely cannot take narcotic meds. Good luck.
5100586 tn?1363644754 I do not have any support and no one will listen to me about whats going on with lyrica. I just want to feel normal again and function normal before lyrica. I feel like I am going insane at times. I am so tired of feeling this way. Can anyone help? Please!!
Avatar f tn but ideally speaking if I could taper Now from the Benzos with chlorazepate or something like Lyrica that would be great! But again, after having been on Trams for as long as I had I might be pushing it at this point in time. Anyway, thanks for the great info and I will discuss it with my doc soon. Please keep on sharing too!
Avatar f tn That's terrible that you had so many of those symptoms that go along with Lyrica....I know that everybody is different but I'm also getting the blurry vision and watery eyes as well....it drives me crazy....
Avatar f tn He feels pretty confident that it is fibro, however he was hesitate to label me with the diagnosis because i have too many sensory issues that are not indicative with fibro. He said that my blood work showed that i am borderline deficient in B12. he asked if i was a vegetarian and i said no. he gave me a b12 supplement. he also changed my medication from lyrica (no generic and very expensive!!) to nuraton. no MS which i was very concerned about it. i am still having the severe breast pain.
Avatar f tn Has anyone been prescribed lyrica? I have, and have had great results with it for nerve pain in my right arm and hand. Opinions, please. My two other posts with more description vanished, so I will leave with this lol.
Avatar f tn Sound like it could be used with other drugs like Lyrica. I know that one person on this forum has awful swelling and stopped the Lyrica. Perhaps this could help. Sometimes we need to take a number of things to get the pain under control. for me it is being so tired and fatiqued. I can't stand that, so my Dr. gave me Wellbutrin. Haven't tried it yet, but some of the sx from Lyrica are going away.
483733 tn?1326798446 Does the dizziness and spaciness ever go away with Lyrica? I been taking this drug since December and I am still in so much pain in addition to the above :( (And I can't tolerate any of the 6 SSRIs) Paxil was pretty much the last straw which I took long ago for treatment of GAD..
210982 tn?1280983895 I was briefly diagnosed with RSD and was prescribed Lyrica for the severe nerve pain I was experiencing. I found that it did take away my nerve pain but at a great cost to me, it messed with my memory and I also gained 30lbs in 6 weeks while I was taking it. Im not totally positive that it alone caused the weight gain, but there wasnt really anything else it could have been.
Avatar n tn That you have to talk to a Doctor about. I have heard ldn can't be taken with certain drugs such as narcotics. With any drug it is important to have Drs. who cross check. I know mine always do.
237152 tn?1206651036 My pain doc says neurontin is a much safer drug than lyrica and wants me to stick to the neurontin.....lyrica does have a euphoria associted with it with use for some....especially at first....
398624 tn?1266269449 Not really sure why he switched me to Lyrica. I read up on it and it didn't seem like what I needed. It says drs. do prescribe it for GAD also tho??? But I didn't start it and I went back to see him today and he put me on Hydroxyzine Pamaote (sp?). He said nothing about tapering off of Ativan. How would you recommend I taper off the Ativan? I take 1mg, 3 times daily. Do I take the new prescription along with it???
1345254 tn?1325918041 I was on a lyrica regiment for about 6 months and in regard to side effects, never had any adverse reactions that were of concern. At first the Dr started me on gabapentin (neurontin), but that stuff really messed with me. Within a week, I'd wake in the mornings horribly dizzy..It would take me a couple hours just to get feeling somewhat normal. So the Dr switched me to the lyrica..
Avatar f tn and im prescribed .5 klonopin 3 times a day for anxiety, and the lyrica for anxiety and the lyrica does help with the pain, it numbs it without the "high" feeling...i know everyones withdrawels are different, i think i can handle the physical part, its the mental part im more afraid of i think, like is it gonna make me feel dizzy, weird headed, anything like that? i dont know, ive never had to wd...
Avatar f tn Hi, I have had fibro for 9 years, it started with my last pregnancy. As you all know some day s are better than others. I was wondering what types of meds others have tried. I take Neruonton and vicodine. I want to get of the last one if I can. I can't take lyrica. Any ideas?
Avatar f tn I am taking 200mg Lyrica daily, plus 20mg Prozac, and Vicodin 5/500 as needed. I am miserable today - hurt all over I have a dr appt tomorrow morning but today is still long. I'm out of Vicodin and I have had a few 8 mg Dilaudid hanging around for awhile because a friend gave them to me. Has anyone had this combination of drugs? I need something but I am afraid the Lyrica and Prozac might interact with Dilaudid. Has anyone used Dilaudid to manage Fibro pain?
Avatar m tn I have read that if you are already a person that struggles with addiction, Lyrica can cause addictive tendencies to come out. They even say that in that new Fibromyalgia commercial.
Avatar f tn how would lyrica help with pain management for L4-5 disc herniation? I've been using 50 mg twice daily for about 2 weeks now and I'm not sure that it's helping.
Avatar f tn Has anyone taken lyrica for fibromylasia and found increased pain instead of decrease?
Avatar m tn Will swelling and itching go away by continuing to take Lyrica. I started in my hands and feet. I have been taking it a month and the symptoms are daily but are mild and seem less and less. Today, it is only swelling on the top of my ear with slight itching. Should it continue taking it, because i heard that discontinuing could cause a seizure.
