Avatar n tn is it possible that 300mg LYRICA COULD CAUSE ME TO FEEL LESS TENSE AND MORE CALM...INSIDE? I'VE BEEN TAKING IT FOR MONTHS AND FEEL LIKE I'M "ON SOMETHING"!
Avatar n tn does anyone have an idea on how to get a lot of help on lyrica perscriptions with out having any insurance?
2107676 tn?1388973859 Nice reply, Free, except for the Circus part! Ha! So happy you are back posting, Pat! I know you will get the love and support you need to help you get through this! Avatar f tn t find relief and can tolerate the side effects. According to the Lyrica website you could feel relief as soon as one week, but for some people it may take longer. It also depends on how high your dosage is right now. Like every treatment, everyone is different. Lyrica was not for me. I would be grateful if someone on the forum would add to this post with their Lyrica experiences.
Avatar f tn So I take it before bedtime, and I work out as much as possible, this also helps with depression I might get due to having a chronic pain disease. Hope this helps, if you go to the Lyrica website, you can read all about others who have taken it, positive and negative results.
Avatar n tn The worst pain ever. 6 months on Nortriptyline, several on alpha lipoic acid, now on Lyrica. Lyrica works! Still numb but pain relief. Questions: Concerned about kidneys and new insurance doesn't want to cover Lyrica. They want me on gabapentin. I've been on Cobra for over 2 years and am really fed up with jumping through hoops while paying up to $2000 per month for cobra, copays, etc. Lyrica works. How hard should I fight? I'm getting tired of the BS.
Avatar f tn ll ask Dr. for Lyrica, but I was concerned because I heard Lyrica makes you gain a lot of weight. How long have you been on it, and have you had any side effects. Also, if you don't mind me asking, are you taking any other medicines for difficulty with staying asleep, anxiety, depresssion, etc.
Avatar n tn Its funny because so many fibromyalgia patients are on Lyrica only, but many of the Fibro/CFS experts are recommending supplements and/or other treatments.
1291268 tn?1274810922 I do think it is wise to visit the website about the perils of Lyrica as mentioned by a previous poster, because not all drugs are good for all people.
Avatar n tn Feel free in the meantime to view my complete profile with my website address on there. My website is not a commercial website and I list all of that information on there. Also.. we may have a guest physician answering our questions here for an hour or so. I'll keep everyone posted !
630344 tn?1280104983 This is my first day on Lyrica, and the doctor increased my citalopram! I was wondering if anyone else is on this med and if so did you notice dizziness? I have noticed a decrease in my pain, but a weird like disoriented feeling! I am so tired of pain I can deal with this for awhile, I just was wondering if anyone else has had these symptoms and if so did they go away? So far I am willing to stick anything out as long as I can get some pain relief.
Avatar m tn I went to my Dr. and he told me to taper off 2-7.5 hydro's & replace them with 2 -- Lyrica 75mg. I'm still on 3--.5mg xanax as well as prozac /heart pills and prevacid .I never use more than prescribed .Should I just deal with life without meds .I'm having trouble going to NA & AA because I still feel like I'm useing. I have been clean of my addiction drug for 6 months . Am I fooling myself thinking I won't abuse these new " "Prescribed "meds.
Avatar f tn Does anyone know of something natural that helps relieve nerve pain? I have nerve damage from previous back injuries and cannot take the lyrica I was taking to control the pain. I've been managing as best as I can up until recently. My baby is sitting comfortable on a nerve which is not so comfortable for me and I can hardly move.
Avatar f tn What is the website online i can visit and still see the forums and add pics to my profile?
294817 tn?1263836838 LOL! Don't worry, I put in what my due date would be if I was preggers on one website. Everyone there knows I haven't gotten my BFP yet, but I just wanted to input my data! *SIGH* I did this last time I thought I was preggo and I took it off after AF arrived.
97654 tn?1214348650 Hi Kim First I would like to say that I am so sorry that you're going through this in the first place..... I also wanted to chime in here because I've had a horrible experience with Solumedrol as well.....Back in March I had extreme leg and groin numbness and went on IV Solumedrol for 3 days....I had a nasty reaction to it, but it DID take away the numbness and vision problems almost immediately....Well, within 48 hours anyway.....
470168 tn?1237471245 And it is combined with physio to massage the muscle back into a normal function again. Her website is www.tacklingfibro.co.uk. She is reputable as our support group was visited by the regional director of the fibromyalgia association in the UK who gave a testimonial of how she has recovered. By recovered I mean that she still has to stick with the diet etc, but all her symptoms have gone and she is now back in work. My symptoms are going also (over 9 months).
765921 tn?1240405239 Does anyone know much about the side effects personally of Provigil or Lyrica? Any info would be helpful, I have looked at the website but was wondering about personal experiences. Thanks!
1039200 tn?1314912008 Has anyone heard of Pregabalin (lyrica) for bipolar or anxiety? - my doctor wants me to try, but I have not heard about it before and would like to know if anyone here has tried it or knows anyone who has. Is it used as a mood stabiliser? - I can't find it on the web site ILADVOCATE recomended me a long time ago, does this mean it's not a mood stabiliser or just a new brand?
Avatar f tn I also suffer from fibro/cfs, chronic migraines, complete loss of taste, tinnitus, abdominable pain, oesphageal spasms, acid reflux, severe pain in back and legs and TMJ. (I have had other additional health probs, see post 14 July). I take lyrica, morphine and omeprazole amongst other medication. The lyrica is driving me a bit nuts - I am sleepy, sick, dizzy and cannot do very much.
Avatar f tn Ive been on lyrica and nuvigil fro fibro pain and fatigue, and just found out I'm pregnant. I'm just wondering if anyone else has taken either one of those while pregnant. I've stopped them for i was on only 50 mg of lyrica and about 100 of nuvigil. but I'm still worried, and i feel like I've been hit by a train once again, the pain is almost unbearable, i know my doc personally, have an appt. with him for the 12th.
