lyrica price

My doctor has started me on a trial of 75mg of Lyrica, three times a day for my suspected "neuromuscular pain". What I want to know, is from those of you who have taken it, has it helped with your pain? Did it make you gain weight? Right now the only thing I have noticed is being terribly drowsy. Please let me know how this medicine has affected you...Thanks!

Last time I ordered my three month supply the base price went up about $800. My co-pay stayed the same at $150 for the 90 day supply. I've been interested to see what insurance is charged when I refill again the first week of September.

Lyrica was prescribed because no other pain killers worked and Lyrica is the only one I have found that gives me pain relief. My GP also thought that it would help me as I would be a worrier and it had calming effects with it and I also suffer from M.E.

I am sorry you are having such a problem getting the meds you need. Unfortunatley Big Pharma and insurance company do not care about people just profits. It is truly a shame that insurance co will pay for opites (which are cheaper) than meds that will help someones condition. I am sorry about the rant but I just have disdain for corporations that care more about the almighty $$$$ than human beings. Try going to Pfizer's website they have a webpage that offers Lyrica at a reduced price.

I would ask your doctor about Lexapro or Cymbalta. These are two of the newer meds and not so many side effects. Good luck!

My doctor gave me a script for Lyrica to treat my anxiety disorder. I was taking 6mg a day of xanax then i just recently switched to 4mg. a day of Klonopin. But she said in Europe the FDA approved Lyrica for anxiety treatment. Its supposedly non addictive. However reviews i have read, users complain of weight gain and increased appetite which my weight is one of my anxieties. Has anyone else tried Lyrica before for anxiety?

The irony of all of this is the lyrica makes me feel more wasted than any narcotic. Let me know what you think of lyrica and good luck...I hear ya!

Do you think that maybe she misunderstood you? I'm on Copaxone and it cost about the same price. My copay is $15.00/month, my insurance covers the rest. I would call your insurance company and ask them how much it will be. If your insurance doesn't deal with shared solutions try calling Pression RX.

Will swelling and itching go away by continuing to take Lyrica. I started in my hands and feet. I have been taking it a month and the symptoms are daily but are mild and seem less and less. Today, it is only swelling on the top of my ear with slight itching. Should it continue taking it, because i heard that discontinuing could cause a seizure.

Has anyone been prescribed lyrica? I have, and have had great results with it for nerve pain in my right arm and hand. Opinions, please. My two other posts with more description vanished, so I will leave with this lol.

i just started lyrica yesterday...75mg...only taken it twice...could it ALREADY be helping my symptoms or is the "good feeling" just in my head?

I started Lyrica in Nov. O7'. I felt horrible for a long time. I went slowly. One pill a week, until I reached 150mg. I hurt all that time. After I had that 150mg ( not much) I started feeling better. It took so long.....more than a month. Finally, I did feel better. I did have breakthrough pain, nothing like I had before, but stabbing here and there. I still do! My Rhemy asked me to up my dose. I refused, as I had sides that put me asleep so often...

so for awhile when i missed the lyrica, i thought oh, i have vicodin...but as Vicodin off, more and more the lyrica helped.....but when I missed doses of everything..., It was by my wife keeping a diary, that I realized I was missing so many just a few days or even one...the Oh! went on... And now I have taken 3yrs without feeling the sick,sweaty feeling I felt when I missed dose.. I did not gain weight ..

Hi, Lyrica shouldn't be addictive at the low doses used for neuropathy. My grandmothers been on it or the other derivative, gabapentin, for years. Just take it at low doses. It works wonders for treating nerve pain though.

My pain doc says neurontin is a much safer drug than lyrica and wants me to stick to the neurontin.....lyrica does have a euphoria associted with it with use for some....especially at first....

I have b een taking Lyrica for by back for several months. Lyrica is also for nerve damage. I have been 3 days without it(300mg a day) and I must say it truley does help.

has anyone ever been perscribed Lyrica for cronic pain. If so how much do you take, and how long did it take to notice any results. I started taking 50MG's 3X's a day. I started last Tuesday, and haven't noticed any difference in my pain. any feedback would be great.

The dr. took me off of Cymbalta because I was getting no relief. He put me on Lyrica. When I got my Rx filled I had to show my ID. I'm guessing Lyrica is a controlled substance? Does anyone know why or what it contains that makes it a controlled substance??
