luvox and klonopin

Took Viagra no problem went back on klonopin and luvox and didnt need viagra. Had another case of performance anxiety two years later and my obsessions started again. Used Viagra and then no problem.Met my wife 6 months ago again performance anxiety, took cialis and it worked until I made a decision to try celexa for two weeks and I dont know if it was my anxiety or fear or did it really kill my sex drive. Viagra or Cialis didnt work. Went back on Luvox up to 150mg and Neurontin 300mg 2x a day.

He is on 300mg of Anafranil since December and started Luvox at the end of December and doctor has been increasing the luvox, so he is now on 300mg of luvox as of two days ago. This is the strange part.....every time the doctor increased one of these meds, my son can feel a difference (thoughts are not that intrusive or severe), but this only lasts about 3-4 days and then he feels that he is back to where he started at the lower dose of 50mg.

Luvox is an SSRI. I have been on another one and had no problems gaining weight as long as I watched what I ate and kept my diet in check. I also run around 40-50 miles a week and actually set a PR for a 10K while I was on these types of medications. Just remember, meds affect people in different ways, but I am a big proponent of meds like these as long as they are combined with talk therapy so you can gain long term knowledge about your anxiety.

m no expert but maybe this is a side-effect of the Luvox that was being neutralized by the Klonopin, and stopping Klonopin caused you to start experiencing it even though you've been on the Luvox for a long time. I'd definitely bring it up with your doctor either way - it could be entirely unrelated but altering your medication could help anyway. Hope things work out.

The Luvox CR comes in 100 mg capsules. Would it be okay to take 200 mg of Luvox CR on one day and 100 mg of Luvox CR the next, and alternate since I can't divide the capsules? Thank you.

I had been feeling great for the last two weeks and then suddenly, my anxiety came back. Slowly at first and then pretty hard today. I had hoped that the zoloft would keep the depression and anxiety away. I am seeing a therapist for CBT as well. My depression is still under control but the anxiety is bad. Shouldn't the zoloft take care of the anxiety?

If you want to stay on meds, I'd give celexa a try precisely because it is so close to Lexapro but different. It has different side effects and doesn't work exactly the same, so it might bypass the resistance you're brain has worked up to Lexapro. If it doesn't work if you stop it soon you probably won't have a bad withdrawal.

During all this I started a new job and I would lay in bed at night and have bad anxiety and panic attacks and I could not sleep . I stated taking .5 alprazolam and it helped for a little while then nothing. My dr. Started me on ambien and lunesta with little relief from either drug. The I started 100mg of trazadone with my .5 alprazolam. I started with a quarter of the trazadone .25 and quickly went all the way up to 200. And still it was a coin toss if I was going to sleep or not.

I took one 40mg pill of Latuda for six days and stopped and then about 40 hrs later took one 50mg pill of Luvox, and have been taking Luvox since then for a couple of days. I said, 26 hours at first but I counted wrong. Should I have waited longer before taking Luvox? How long before the Latuda is out of my body? I took my last pill of Latuda Tuesday, July 3rd at maybe like 11:00pm and my first pill of Luvox Friday July, 6th, around 12:00am.

In 2002 I started taking luvox 300mg a day. Also clonazepam, and valproic acid. I was 22 in that time, and I did well for a while, even a couple of years ago I started taking only 150mg luvox. Now my OCD symptoms are still low, but the panic attacks specially when I go out to the street or a public place are greater than ever. Is it possible that medications stop making effect, or that the biological changes in our body due to normal growing make the dose become less than required?

I have an 11 yo daugthe ris being taken off of Luvox 50 mg after 1 1/2 yr. and going to start Cymbalta 30 mg. The doc said to just switch. Is this safe? Does anyone have any input? Please help!

lUVOX IS FANTASTIC FOR MY DEPRESSION AND OCD. I also have the greatest therapist in the world. Along with his help, luvox has been like gold.

i was on luvox for many year's and it did great,then i had a down turn and went into depression and did not care about anything.so now i am on effexor.it seem's ok,but not as good as luvox was.they said after that many year's on it,it could have run it's course.so they changed it.i asked my doctor if i could go back on luvox because it worked really well for me,and she said that will definatley be open for disscussion.

there is something about it only my subconcius knows what it is, i used to take clonazemap, 2 mgs a day, i take luvox and valproic acid, and the dr recommended klonopin 'in case of anxiety',... clonazepam is effective, the thing is that i dont know why it is effective, sometimes clonazepam makes you feel, 'relaxed', nos exactly 'realxed' but,... i dont know... i would like to take no more clonazepam anyway...

I have severe OCD and depression along with it and I use to take Effexor Xr about 3 years ago and it worked so well I got off of it thinking I would be fine. My OCD got even worse so last month my doctor prescribed my the generic brand of Effexor called venefalaxine 75 mg and it made me feel high so he lowered the dose and it still made me feel funny and he said generic brands can give ypu more side effects.

My OCD is ruining my life and driving me insane. I have tried every standard OCD med, Clomipramine, Luvox, SSRI's, SNRI's, Antipsychotics, CBT, DBT nothing has helped. t realizing from your post, I think, is that your wife has already quit this drug -- she tapered off it probably at a slower and safer rate of speed than most doctors and psychiatrists would have done. But Luvox has the shortest half-life of any antidepressant out there, which means it leaves the body very very quickly. That makes it hard for the brain to adapt to operating normally again.

i have been on luvox for 1 year and its a very good medicine with minimum side effects ,so please give it a try and regarding weight gain i think it is the dullness caused by these medicines that we gain weight , which we can counter by exercises.

My fiancé suffers from severe anxiety and has been taking 250 mg of Luvox daily. He is extremely exhausted. He can not even stand up, drive or be social involved. Feeling this way is even making him depressed and have no motivation. He already lowered the Luvox dosage a few times already. Is this medicine for him?

A week ago my psychiatrist stopped my 200 mgs of zoloft and started me on luvox 50 mgs a day for the first two weeks then 100 mgs a day there after. A couple days later I started expiriencing major withdrawal symptoms, severe anxiety and panic (more so than usual), insomnia, and some slight agoraphobia (I don't like to leave the house, but I will if I need too) and even stronger ocd symptoms.

has anyone here ever been on LUVOX? any luck? Im on celexa for depression and anxiety and OCD. its helping my depression and anxiety, but not really touching my OCD like my doctor had hoped. He upped my dose last week and Im going to give it a few weeks to see, but if it doesnt seem to be working, Im going to ask him about luvox.
