rash

Avatar m tn I am not sure for how long. presure behind the nose and ears and sometime I would feel hot in the face. Some phlegm in the mornings. But it's clear. Can a sinus infection spread down to my joints? Thanks!
3093770 tn?1389739126 The Hydrocortisone Valerate cream I used behind the ears, the ears, the face, the forehead, and even the eyelids and right under the eyes. You cannot get it in the eyes so one has to be very careful and not use too much around the eyes (but one has to use some or it won't clear up). With any luck yours will clear up fast, but just to warn you, my psoriasis appeared in mid July and I am still dealing with the very last vestiges of it now, in mid-Dec. It is almost gone, maybe by Jan. 1st.
Avatar f tn An itchy rash behind his ears, a rash around his eyes and on his face, a rash on his neck and hive like rash on his belly. The rash took a few days to subside. We are in the process of having him tested for allergies.
Avatar n tn My daughter has always had a face that got very red in the sun, especially under her eyes...even w/ sun screen. This summer she has had a bout of fifth's disease and now has the same sun sensitivity and an itchy rash on her arms and behind her knees. The fifth's disease was almost 2 months ago. The rash is definately worse in the sun but also seems to get worse when she is very warm. The rash is itchy and burns when I put sunscreen on her.
Avatar f tn It sounds really trivial but it is so wet from seeping fluid that it soaks my hair and I have to get up to tuck kleenex behind my ears during the night because the seeping fluid forms a sticky crust and it is a mess. This skins seeps fluid and bleeds all the time. I had the incivek rash really bad when I had it especially on my scalp which is almost completely better now (7-8 wks later) but the ears continue.
237053 tn?1258828426 Hey guys--I just came across this post because I've been treated for lyme disease for about 7 years, and this just became an issue for me in Jan of this year--it has been a very steady recurring issue though--with sores appearing in both sides of my nose now, and getting dry, flaking and sores behind my ears. I'm not completely sure they are related--but they appeared around the same time, so I'm assuming they are.
Avatar n tn The backs of her ears have been swollen and red and she has a rash down the side of her neck starting from the base of her ears. She also says that her neck is itchy. We strongly believe she has a nickel allergy but we aren't sure if that would also cause the face rash as well. We bought some 14k gold earrings to see if that solved the problem a couple days ago but she says the rash is still the same.

Avatar m tn Like another poster I have a flakey, itchy rash behind my ears where they connect to the head. I guess this may be eczema? But at the same time I've developed tiny whiteheads on both sides of my neck between the ears and clavicle. There are also some of these present on my upper chest. And at the same time I have a mild itchy rash in the contact area of my upper thighs and scrotum. Are these connected?
Avatar f tn I suffer from Hashimotos autoimmune disease for many years and was diagnosed last year with Lupus after suffering many years with leukopenia which was caused by the Lupus or the Premarin. I took myself off of Premarin in July 2016 and I feel so much better. My hair is now growing back after losing about 3/4 of it during a Lupus flare-up that lasted over 7 months. My muscle aches are gone and my blood counts are now registering normal.

Avatar n tn After her surgery, she developed a rash behind her operative leg. Rash was very itchy and then spread to her entire body. She felt not only itching but burning. Was taking antihestimines with no relieve. After numerous visits to her surgeon, a dermatologist swabbed her incision and test came back positive for staph and MRSA. After numerous visits to her surgeon, he agreed to go back in and clean area and culture .
425455 tn?1204938565 The reason I think Lupus is a possibility is because of the joint pain, fatigue, rash, plus I break out in a very bad rash in the summer when the sunlight hits any skin exposed. I also have problems with my fingers and toes hurting after warming up from getting cold. They swell, turn bright red, and hurt like heck. It feels like all the blood rushes to them, and they swell enough that I can barely move them. I've had problems with the rash and finger problems since I was a teenager.
Avatar n tn I have a lump behind my right ear in the postauricular area around 1 cm across, more flat than raised, and most prounounced when I turn my head to the left. It's not painful, not moveable, and when I hold my finger to it I can feel my pulse. I first noticed it around 11 months ago when I had a very itchy, red rash covering my ears, and there has been no discernable change in size or shape since then.
Avatar f tn t write, chest pain and pressure, nausea, muscle pain, body aches, sick feeling, trouble thinking and concentrating, hard time remembering things, sores in my ears, rash on my cheeks that looks like a butterfly rash, short of breath, can't walk without a walker, and awful weakness. Avatar n tn the rash you described sounds like the lupus rash. Have you been tested for it? good luck.
Avatar n tn Other symptoms include: dizziness (constant), white flashes in vision (when blinking), stiff neck, increased blood pressure, fullness in ears, crusty ears (sorry, it's not pretty), intermittent bloody noses, wheezing, tachycardia, many epithelial cells in urine, elevated ALT enzymes, body temperature goes up and down throughout the day, but never higher than 100.0 degrees, constant fatigue and the purplish rash mentioned above.
Avatar f tn In the last month or so- I have been having pains behind my ears. Kind of at the hair line- like right now as I sit here it aches. But- if I press on them it feels bruised kinda like the bone is bruised. For about three weeks it was just my left ear- then about a week ago my right one started hurting too. Also- I am having a major swooshing noise in my right ear. Seriously feels like I am at the ocean.
Avatar f tn my five yr old boy has a pale redish rash that started around his neck not behind the ears. Spreaded all over his back and chest.
Avatar n tn I forgot to mention both of my ears inner skin; not completly in ears and outer behind my ears have the same itchy crusty rash. Is this also dermatitis?
Avatar n tn my daughter is 14. A boy in her class has a rash which they find difficult to look at. It started off at the side of his eyes. Next it was around his mouth. now it is also behind his ears. It looks like crusty cuts and seems to have an odour. they don't know if he knows it is behind his ears. Sometimes his eyes look as if they are bleeding. I would be grateful for some info on possible causes.
Avatar f tn I dyed my hair about a week ago, and yesterday I woke up to a rash behind my ears and on my chest. It looks a lot like a heat rash which is what I iniatially thought it was, but it seems to have spread to my jaw line as well. It isnt itchy and the bumps are flesh colored. Could I be having an allergic reaction to the dye or something else? Or is there a virus and that's how it's presenting itself?
