Avatar f tn s by an Endocrinologist and he informed me that it was one of several symptoms of my thyroid disease, I alternate between Lunesta, and Benadryl. and when I feel right, nothing at all. I switch back and forth to avoid depending on either of them. My main problem was I would have no trouble going to sleep, I would sleep for maybe 3-4 hours, wake up and not be able to go back to sleep for another two hours, by then I would just get frustrated and stay up, although I would be tired all the time.
Avatar f tn I have been off oxy now into day five they gavevme xanax for day n lunesta at night. The lunesta gave me 4 hrs. Of sleep. Should I be on this trying to get a year of oxy at 80 mg.
Avatar f tn I am currently taking 2mg lunesta ($9 with copay and lunesta discount card), which helps me sleep..and ~sleep~ is needed for weight loss, good feelings and such. I have had intermediate night sweats, which I found out today from my endo ~is~ a part of being hypothyroid. I have not gone through what my dear husband calls "minnow's pause", but a ~good~ endo will check ~all~ your hormones if you go in with your list of symptoms. I hope you feel better, and you sound hypo to me.

Avatar f tn It's 3 weeks since I've been having a pretty serious depression, including anxiety & sleeplessness. I was put on a new antidepressant LexiPro (15 days now), xanax as needed, which I only need to "take the edge off" when Im shaky, and Lunesta to sleep. This is the 2nd time I've used Lunesta.
Avatar f tn I have a bcbs ppo and was supposed to have a copay at my first visit, but since I'd already paid a bit out of pocket they said it was covered
454795 tn?1205936319 What do I need to do to sleep more than two hours??? I am taking 6mg lunesta w/o any help. I cant be a zombie the next day either with my son and work responsabilities....Any help would be greatly appriciated...Your brother in HELL.
Avatar m tn The highest available dose of Lunesta is 3mg. Recently, thought is that Lunesta, Ambien, and others in this class are very similar to benzodiazepine drugs. But I haven't read much about addiction or withdrawl from these meds. Seems like insomnia would be a given, but you could try melatonin or valerian root to combat that. Good luck either way.
Avatar f tn but with insurance our copay monthly will be almost 700$. ive searched and searched but there is no help out there.
Avatar f tn d the rozarem along with the lunesta (this was my sub doctor - said it was perfectly safe and I had no bad effects from it). I actually liked the rozarem. I dont know if youve ever seen the "It brings your dreams back" commercials, but it REALLY DID bring my dreams back. I got such a kick out of that. I dreampt every night. (I no longer ever dream). I stopped getting it though as it was not covered under my insurance and couldnt afford it.
1139187 tn?1355706647 I get the same thing once in a while, the dizzy spells on and off, but no special time of the day, they are not specific, the same thing with insomnia, it comes and goes, some nights I will sleep straight through like seven hours, and others I will only sleep 5 and thats with taking #3 Lunesta. I get the symptoms and I am taking meds, I just started on Armour a week ago, I have those same symptoms now, but I hope it is just the transition period.
Avatar n tn That site and some others linked up here will give you clinically accurate advice from a consumer perspective to educate yourself and bring to your psychiatrist. Lunesta and Rozerem are good options for sleep, especially Rozerem which in working like melatonin can actually adjust the sleep cycle. However, if Effexor was prescribed as an anti-depressent let that get adjusted before trying additional sleep aids as untreated depression causes insomnia.
667078 tn?1316000935 And then you throw in the drugs that my DH is also taking, and we are putting out considerable amounts of $$ just for our copay. Fortunately I got rid of my other $50 copay drug, which was a specialty heart medicine. And my Lunesta lasts a long time for me - that's another $50 monthly copay. I have stopped taking it nightly. This is really good news for you.
338416 tn?1420045702 m also taking full advantage of those name brand drugs that have the rebates/pay the cost of the copay. Lipitor and Lunesta both offer these. Still trying to find a way for SS to pay for my monthy copaxone, but haven't got that one, yet. Remember - you have worked have for that incentive gift. Enjoy the benefits of your hard work. congrats!
Avatar m tn I have been on 80 mg. Of oxy for a year now n quit cold turkey Friday night. I had no idea what I was in for. The muscle spasms , migriane followed by vomiting. Can't sleep so tried. Final call some local abuse hotline. They were closed for mlk. Call my doc. On 4th day gave Xanax for a week and lunesta at night is this a bad idea? My wife.
266660 tn?1189755834 Lunesta seems to work okay for me. I've only taken it three or four times (I only take it as needed and not on a nightly basis.) I was prescribed Klonopin for anxiety and sleep and she said to not take it with Lunesta (this is after I asked *her*, she didn't mention it until then.) The Klonopin seems to work as well as the Lunesta, BTW. Kevin, I've read that Lunesta and Ambien are the same "types" of sleep aids but that is all I know. I hope Ryan can clear this up for us.
1102799 tn?1269237714 LUNESTA!!! Although i have not taken it since being prego ...if your DR ok'd ambien then Lunesta is ok as well. It works MUCH better...i hated Ambien.
Avatar n tn like urine, this was when I was 17 within about a month of having that orgasm, I had severe back pain, pain weile urinating. I had TWO std screens within a week, no blood in urine, they even checked around my penis with a swab too. There was no infection nor blood, but yet my urine was very cloudy and or almost brown urine, I even urinated in a bottle and took it to them because it was so unbelievable to me.
