He first had me take benedryl for a few days to see if it helped any; then he gave me Lunesta. I just started a flair up, and an currently not sleeping well. This time, however, I think the lack of sleep is from the 6-mo preg.

s by an Endocrinologist and he informed me that it was one of several symptoms of my thyroid disease, I alternate between Lunesta, and Benadryl. and when I feel right, nothing at all. I switch back and forth to avoid depending on either of them. My main problem was I would have no trouble going to sleep, I would sleep for maybe 3-4 hours, wake up and not be able to go back to sleep for another two hours, by then I would just get frustrated and stay up, although I would be tired all the time.

I have a bcbs ppo and was supposed to have a copay at my first visit, but since I'd already paid a bit out of pocket they said it was covered

I am currently taking 2mg lunesta ($9 with copay and lunesta discount card), which helps me sleep..and ~sleep~ is needed for weight loss, good feelings and such. I have had intermediate night sweats, which I found out today from my endo ~is~ a part of being hypothyroid. I have not gone through what my dear husband calls "minnow's pause", but a ~good~ endo will check ~all~ your hormones if you go in with your list of symptoms. Hey all, so I got tired of not sleeping more than 4hrs a night after being off of Tramadol 42days and my Dr gave me Lunesta. I asked if it was addicting and he said yes but you won't buid up a tolerance to it... I would like to hear this though from someone that has taken this medication and has had to come off it... How hard was it? What where the wds like???ect.ect any info on this would be appreciated...Thank You. Jeffi.

The highest available dose of Lunesta is 3mg. Recently, thought is that Lunesta, Ambien, and others in this class are very similar to benzodiazepine drugs. But I haven't read much about addiction or withdrawl from these meds. Seems like insomnia would be a given, but you could try melatonin or valerian root to combat that. Good luck either way.

so when I was in the Er last night they gave me Lunesta a sleeping pill to help me sleep I'm 31 w 5 d n my mom told me its not safe...is it..I mean babys fine n stuff but the hospital wouldn't give it to me if it wasent ok right ?

It's 3 weeks since I've been having a pretty serious depression, including anxiety & sleeplessness. I was put on a new antidepressant LexiPro (15 days now), xanax as needed, which I only need to "take the edge off" when Im shaky, and Lunesta to sleep. This is the 2nd time I've used Lunesta.

And then you throw in the drugs that my DH is also taking, and we are putting out considerable amounts of $$ just for our copay. Fortunately I got rid of my other $50 copay drug, which was a specialty heart medicine. And my Lunesta lasts a long time for me - that's another $50 monthly copay. I have stopped taking it nightly. This is really good news for you.

I get the same thing once in a while, the dizzy spells on and off, but no special time of the day, they are not specific, the same thing with insomnia, it comes and goes, some nights I will sleep straight through like seven hours, and others I will only sleep 5 and thats with taking #3 Lunesta. I get the symptoms and I am taking meds, I just started on Armour a week ago, I have those same symptoms now, but I hope it is just the transition period.

Lunesta seems to work okay for me. I've only taken it three or four times (I only take it as needed and not on a nightly basis.) I was prescribed Klonopin for anxiety and sleep and she said to not take it with Lunesta (this is after I asked *her*, she didn't mention it until then.) The Klonopin seems to work as well as the Lunesta, BTW. Kevin, I've read that Lunesta and Ambien are the same "types" of sleep aids but that is all I know. I hope Ryan can clear this up for us.

I dont know why it is making me nausea. My doc then perscribed lunesta 3mg. Has anyone tried lunesta and experienced better sleep with it? I am afraid of trying lunesta because i dont want to feel so nausea again. I didn't take any sleep med last night...didnt have a very good sleep but still i feel nausea. I have been on 80 mg. Of oxy for a year now n quit cold turkey Friday night. I had no idea what I was in for. The muscle spasms , migriane followed by vomiting. Can't sleep so tried. Final call some local abuse hotline. They were closed for mlk. Call my doc. On 4th day gave Xanax for a week and lunesta at night is this a bad idea? My wife.

m also taking full advantage of those name brand drugs that have the rebates/pay the cost of the copay. Lipitor and Lunesta both offer these. Still trying to find a way for SS to pay for my monthy copaxone, but haven't got that one, yet. Remember - you have worked have for that incentive gift. I have Blue Cross/ Anthem insurance but have a 30% copay for the injections and 40% copay for the pills, which will be about $900 a month out of pocket expence. since this is a non elective tretment i dont have a choice but to get the treatment, but i do need help paying for it. Is there any kind of program that will help me offset the copay cost for this program?

can i take lunesta with a natural sleep aid that has melatonin, valerian root, passionflower,chamomile, hops extract and 5-HTP?

LUNESTA!!! Although i have not taken it since being prego ...if your DR ok'd ambien then Lunesta is ok as well. It works MUCH better...i hated Ambien.
