Common Questions and Answers about Lump on vas deferens

lump

Avatar m tn I have a lump on my upper Vas Deferens, I thought maybe it might have been an enlarged lymph node. The only way I discovered it was that it woke me up from a sound sleep with severe pain. I started to feel just above my groin area where the pain was and felt the lump.

Avatar f tn I have recently noticed my boyfriend seems to have a small lump on what seems to be the Vas Deferens. He isnt someone who will easily go to the doctors and doesnt think it could be anything, he assumes im over reacting. I worry that it could be something major. I found the lump by pushing upward on his right testicle it appeared on the upper back part of the testicle. It is very small and just seems outta place and I havent noticed it before.
Avatar m tn m extremely worried about my condition. Initially, a while back, I noticed a small lump on my right testicle. Then just recently, I noticed that my right testicle is now swollen, and has gotten a little bigger than my left one. And then noticing a large vein. I think it's my right vas deferens and I'm not sure, but I was worried because it might be some kind of fatal disease and as a 15 year old boy, I can't tell my parents. I'm getting a physical in a couple of weeks.
Avatar n tn Is it possible that my chronic Vas Deferens pain can be linked to my herniated discs? If so, how can I follow up and is there any literature out there that I can read online?
Avatar m tn I'm a 52 yr old male, had vasectomy about 2.75 yr's ago and one of my vas deferens is attached to my scrotum wall, at the same site where my Dr. had performed the vasectomy procedure. I had somewhat of a tough time after my surgery with lumps in my scrotum. One of the lumps seemed to be getting big and moving up the scrotum wall towards the base of my penis.
Avatar m tn Hi, A varicocele should not lead to swelling of the vas deferens and thus if the vas deferens is getting swollen, then there’s probably a different pathology playing a role in the same. You might be suffering from epididymo-orchitis and thus need an evaluation for the same. However, apart from the local pain & tenderness, there’s usually associated fever also. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
Avatar m tn I have a question regarding the difference between Vasclip (clipping of vas deferens) vs. traditional vasectomy. There was a study showing a possible association between vasectomy and a rare form of dementa (http://www.northwestern.edu/newscenter/stories/2007/02/vasectomy.html). I realize this is far from conclusive, but there is a theory that sperm entering the blood via vasectomy may lead to antibodies that eventually damage the brain.
Avatar n tn Also** Relative to me, there seems to be 1 lump on the front/top of each of my testicles (infront of where the vas deferens connects to the testicle), as well as a squishy mass behinde it on each testicle... is this the epididymis of each testicle or is it an irregularity?
Avatar n tn With slight contact it's more likely that what's in your pants is pre-ejaculate (sometimes called pre-***). If you're not having an orgasm when this happens that's almost definitely what it is. It's clearer than semen and "stickier." It's purpose is to lubricate your urethra (the tube in your penis that urine and semen pass through) and also to adjust the pH to make it more "sperm friendly.
Avatar n tn CT scan of the pelvis shows any stones in the bladder, kidney, prostate enlargement and urethra to penis and bladder functions would be a cystoscopy or retrograde urethragram to check for any abnormalities of your urinary tract.
Avatar f tn I had a Vasectomy approximately 2 months ago. Yesterday, I found that I have a stitch coming out through the incision site. I pulled on it slightly and can tell it's attached to my vas deferens.
Avatar m tn I'm not sure exactly what you mean but it's probably your vas deferens. That's the tube that carries sperm cells from your testicles up to your penis. Here's how to tell. After a hot shower (when they're hanging down more than usual), using your thumb and index finger, gently pinch the skin of your sac (scrotum) between your fingers about halfway between your testicle and your body.
Avatar m tn I have swelling, minor discomfort that comes as goes, rarely it is particularly bad (bad enough to want to sit oddly to help alleviate it, nothing sharp). The pain is in the swollen epididymis and I can feel it following the vas deferens into my pelvis causing pelvic pain. No noticeable lumps, just the swollen epididymis and vas deferens. I want to see a urologist but I have no insurance so I am trying to get everything (STD, CBC) done first before I take that dive.
Avatar n tn hi im mike im 23 years old and i have a lump on the top right of my left testical (inside the sack) when i touch it i can feel the touch and when i push the testical outward i can see it through the skin it causes no pain nor discomfort (only i keep thinking wtf is this lol!) i dont have any health benifets or money to see a doctor due to lay off at work and the economy ***** right now and a job is a rare thing to find now. can anybody tell me what are some things to watch for?
Avatar m tn It moved to both my testicles and then to my Vas Deferens(i think) and slowly made its way up. it stayed there and slowly moved back down (the Vas Deferens) and it was INCREADIBLY SORE. i waited for a while and it seemed to get better. it took some pain killers and it only helped slightly. the pain just stayed in my Vas Deferens and i tryed to stand, but when i stood up i hurt ALOT (something to do with stretching) . i lay back down and went to sleep for the night.
Avatar n tn i have found some lumps on the vas deferens...the tubes running to and from the left testicle seem to be swollen with squidgy lumps....its purely only the left side and not the right....not painful at all and not solid its a pushable thing... when i lie down though however they dissapear...any ideas?

Avatar f tn Anyone got any ideas???!!! Does the fact my vas deferens being cut an sealed stop any retrograde infection / reflux of urine? Tested for chlmyedia / gonnoreah and negative. If I do have something then it hasn't caused any symptoms and I've had it since before married. No other symptoms eg UTI etc. Anyone had anything similar? Cheers!
