I have two pea size lumps on the right side of my neck. One is about 1/2 way down my neck the other is just about 1/2 inch below that close to my colar bone felt more when i extend my neck back. At times the lumps feel larger and sometimes smaller. I also had a cough that is going away for about 2 weeks now which produced clear sputum at times. I also had my thyroid removed about 2 years ago. The lumps are both movable and not painful. Can this be some sort of cancer.
When I lie down on my right side at night i can feel a large lump in my jugular vein on the right side of my neck. I looked at it with a mirror whilst lying down and it is very noticeable that there is a lump sticking out of the vein. However, the lump disappears when I stand up or am sitting down and there is no lump on the other side. Does anyone having ideas what this lump could be?
I did notice the day before that on my right side of my neck in between my ear and shoulder that I had a pea size lump. I cannot notice it by just looking at my neck but if I tilt my head to the left and feel around I can feel it. Idk if I had this before or if it just came up since I got sick. Idk if it's anything to worry about or not. I've also been stressed a lot recently and I know that lymph nodes can swell because of that as well.
One week ago I developed a small lump on the back of my head since then I get severe pain on the left side of my head! At times it goes away and I feel fine. The lump has since gone away. But the pain is still here and at times I just want to scream. Any ideas! I have been to the doctor twice and no ideas!
Hello, I have noticed a lump on the back of my neck. It is only on the left side. It is in the area circled in the attached pic. It is scary and i really just want too know if there is a chance it could be nothing to worry about. I had a few random panic attacks a couple months ago, and ever since ive been thinking something is wrong with me. So im hoping that it could be nothing. I hope that its not cancerous. If you could tell me the possibilities, it would be great.
I have a dime sized lump on the right side of the neck, it doesn't hurt nor do I have any other symptoms. Just a hard lump that doesn't move under the skin when I put pressure on it, it just stays in place. I don't remember how long I've had it. Maybe a few months to a year, I hardly ever get sick the most is once to twice a year. Any suggestions would be helpful thank you.
it was on the right side and is just below the middle of my neck. the red lump went down within a week but has left a small pea sized lump that is hard but painless underneath the skin with no discolouration. could this be a sign of cancer? im thinking cause it came out like a spot it is probaly a boil, but would that leave a lump?
Im brand new to this forum but really really need to know whats going on. In January I found a small lump on the side of my dogs neck, it doesn't seem to be attached to any muscle, its just sort of under the skin and is about the size of a grain of rice and pretty hard but almost feels like it can be roled around but not far.
It says possible lipoma but lymph node not entirely excluded”. I have 3 lipomas on right side of body but since I had Stage 1 melanoma on left side of shoulder a yr ago we are getting me into see the oncologist who removed my melanoma for further eval. Anyone else with similar symptoms & what was your diagnosis?
It appears to perhaps be attached to a vein. It is about an inch below the back of my hairline on the right side of my neck. the lump is very hard and the size of a pea or a beebee (sp?).
I noticed this first two days ago not long after getting a particularly large insect bite about an inch or two from the spot. I'm not sure if these two are related. I've tried to rub it out, thinking it was just a tiny tense muscle knot or something, but it isnt going anywhere.

Im 33 an I have a bump on the back right side of my head for about 2 and half year now. I hadn't really given it any thought until about 2 or 3 months ago when I started having severe headaches and now I have blurry vision in my right eye. I also have pain in the back of my head when I sit up for more than 30 minutes or when I lay down on my back. There is a history of cancer of all types on my mothers side of the family and im scared to go to the doctor to find out what is wrong.
I am worried about a lump which I have noticed on the back of my neck. It is right in the centre of the back neck and ends about 1/2cm before my hairline. It is more noticable when I lean my head forward or lay down. I cannot notice it if my neck is in a normal, standing position.The lump is slightly closer to my head than my back. It is solid, it almost feels like bone. It does hurt slightly when I poke at it.
