Not clear on what you said - 20/28 in. lump? I would think if you had a lump this size you'd look pregnant. Your pancreas isn't big enough to support a growth that large.

Has tried every GERD med under the sun. Is now on Kapidex, which helps somewhat with the lump in throat. He has already stopped the painkillers/stool softeners given by the hospital. Ultra sound showed a fatty liver. Liver enzyme levels are fine. Not diabetic. He has oily/fatty/bile diarrhea 10+ times per day. He is on a VERY low-fat diet. Doesn't matter what he eats - he is so sick :( No signs of jaundice. If anyone has any ideas, PLEASE throw them out there.

the only answer i get from the doctor is it means there is a spot on his pancreas and we need to do a ct scan...can u help clearify this for me?

I've been having lower right bladder and back pain for a little over a week now. It started last Sunday Dec 4 and it's still continuing and is getting worse. (today is Dec 13) I went to the doctors yesterday and they ordered an ultrasound to see if I have a cyst on one of my ovaries. Today though, I noticed a lump on the lower right side of my back. It's clearly a lump. It is about the size of a quarter and it can move around and hurts when I touch it.

Hiatal hernia is the sliding of the stomach into the chest cavity through the opening in the diaphram, and cannot be palpated external. I am 58 male, ,low on IgM, On my latest CT scan It shows in tail of pancreas 8 mm hypoattenuating round lesion with 13 hounsfield units, mentioning -it appears cystic lesion , what does it mean--

I've had on-and-off mild nausea, including two episodes of vomitting. To check for possible gallbladder problems I had an abdominal ultrasound. The report showed a normal gallbladder but "inhomogeneous pancreas". The doctor has ordered amylase, lipase, and liver function blood work. I have been on proton pump inhibitors for years for GERD and eosiniphilic esophagitis. It's weeks before I can see the gastroenterologist.

Went to my Doctor recently with pains in my sides under my ribs, mostly on left side but also on the right and around the back of ribs. He physically examined me and had a listen but found nothing to concern him, his advice was see what happens and maybe it will settle down. Since then its got a bit better with pain mostly under right ribs, level slightly less but not gone away. Some floating bowel movement and some sinkers.

Three years ago I also had a scan and it said I had mild pancreatitus, but this scan says something about the head of the pancreas. Tonight I am going for an MRI to rule out any lesions. I had some slight bleching last week that is almost gone, my stools seem fine, just the back/tummy pain exists. I have also had some slight fluctiations in my temperature. I was still having probs and my Dr got CT scans and ultrasounds too, they showed I have lesions on the live , spleen, and pancreas. I went to Baylor fri, they went down with the EDG ultrasound. I was told I have no tumors or cancer, but have abnormalities noted in the entire pancreas, and inflammation all in the GI track. He took biops of all . Dose any one in here know what the reasons for all this. I don't drink , don't smoke and I don't eat fatty foods.

the pain is getting very intense even with pain meds and i cant lay on my stomache anymore could something be wrong with my pancreas and it not show up in ct scan?

For the past couple of months I've noticed a lump in my center upper abdomen that bulges out when I lay down or recline. It sometimes rises up and bulges out of my skin for a few seconds, then drops back down. It is not painful, even when I press on it. Today I noticed that when I lay down and press on the area, I can slightly feel it even when it isn't bulging. I've had problems with nausea the past couple of months as well.

I am in the same boat as both of you. Did you have acute pancreatitis when it first hit? Have had acid issues for yrs, last yr started getting upper left sided jabs of pain, my lipase was doubled and then remained slightly elevated for at least 2 wks. I had a ultrasound on my right kidney, liver, aorta and pancreas, due to high liver enzymes. At the time of my ultrasound, the technician had me lay on my left side and scanned the upper back area. My question is would that also show below my sixth rib? I've discovered a lump under what I was told is my 6th rib and not sure if I should have another ultrasound to rule anything out associated with my high liver enzymes. i have a big lump in my right side of my abdomen just under my rib. ive had a mri and 3 ultrasound scans and nothing has been picked up.

From time to time If I press on my right side I feel this lump that moves but then disappears. Two weeks ago I had my period which was extremely light and brown. Throughout these two weeks I've only had around two bowel movements. I also took two pregnancy tests in case it was a pregnancy but they both were negative. What could this be?
