lump on cat's neck

t already, I would get another opinion from another vet. Our kitty had a lump on his tail too awhile back near the base of his tail. The lump turned out to be a beneign cyst, so the lump is not necessarily a tumor and there was no surgery involved in the case of our kitty. I hope you find my suggestion helpful for your dear Sammy the cat.

I NEED SOME INPUT FROM SOMEONE THAT KNOWS ABOUT CATS AND STUFF.... So I have this cat and he only goes outside for a few hours every night. So yesterday we noticed that he has a huge squishy lump on his head. Right on top. It looks exactly like a abscess before being drained. But here's the kicker...there's not sign of trauma on or around the lump. No bites/punctures wounds, no scratch marks..nothing. Just a lump with no signs of how it got there.

Hello, I have noticed a lump on the back of my neck. It is only on the left side. It is in the area circled in the attached pic. It is scary and i really just want too know if there is a chance it could be nothing to worry about. I had a few random panic attacks a couple months ago, and ever since ive been thinking something is wrong with me. So im hoping that it could be nothing. I hope that its not cancerous. If you could tell me the possibilities, it would be great.

I have noticed 1 lump on my neck (not the same one as before). the lump is at the back of my neck, up by the top to the left. The lump is small, pea size, it's sort of hard, it doesn't seem to move that much when pressed, it doesn't hurt that much when I press it down, but I'm sure it did burn a little when I did it not long ago. I am 17, male... Can someone help me out a little ? thanks..

Last week I felt a lump a little bigger than 1 inch in the middle of my cat's chest. Lump being a lump the first thing I thought of was that it was a nodule, so I took him to the vet. The vet took some x-rays and blood samples and the xray showed no shadow in the area of the lump.

Hi there. about four weeks ago i developed a large red lump on my neck. it was on the right side and is just below the middle of my neck. the red lump went down within a week but has left a small pea sized lump that is hard but painless underneath the skin with no discolouration. could this be a sign of cancer? im thinking cause it came out like a spot it is probaly a boil, but would that leave a lump?

Hello sunday i woke up with a big lump on the back top of my neck by my head.. IT is sore and hurts, today i woke up and i have more little bumps going down my neck and one behined my ear.. i have one that moves on the rt side front of my throat right above my collar bone does anyone have any ideas what it could be?????

my dog has a lump on the side of her neck...not in the middle--more under her cheek. she is a boston terrier and is overweight and has a couple of soft fatty tumors on her body but this lump on her neck is new. My cat, Chuck, is 16 years old. One day not so long ago I discovered a small lump under my cat's chin on the left side, just behind the jaw bone. I monitored it for several weeks and it didn't grow or seem troublesome at all to Chuck. okay so my partner has a lump on her neck for longer than a few months now i would say,it has not really got larger but still is sensitive to touch... as in sore to touch. is there any insight without going to the doctors?

We discovered a lump on the left foot of our 3 year old male cat. It is sticking out right about at the wrist. We have taken him to the vet and the lump is very hard. They gave him an antibiotic shot in hopes that it was perhaps an abscess and would go down. It did not and actually has increased in size. He does not limp and gets around on it just fine but it does hurt when you push on it. We have plans to take him in and have it removed.

My 17 yr old daughter felt a lump on side of neck. Doctor measured it at 1.4cm and ordered an ultrasound. It is hard and rubbery and does not hurt. Ultrasound results state it has grown to 2.6cm x 1.3cm (in 1 month) and has no fatty hilum. Performed at a level 5 in the area of palpable abnormality. Detected a lump on the upper right back of neck parallel to ear in the hairline last Fri. Saw my internist past Tue & had ultrasound performed. Report said, “hypoechoic structure measuring 1.9 x 1 x 1.4 cm within the scalp. It says possible lipoma but lymph node not entirely excluded”. Im 23 years old and i've had a lump on the right side of my neck 4 about 4 months & its been getting bigger in size it ives me reali bad headaches & stabbing pains where the lump is located. The dr. sent me 4 a brain scan and nothing. So he sent me 2 a specialist & hes sendin me 4 a targeted ultrasound. But im so scared because cancer runs in my family. That would explain the shooting pain when you press it. I get a pretty big lump at the back of my head sometimes due to my neck being out of place, and sometimes smaller lumps near my temples, and it does shoot pain through my head if I press. In fact if I press hard for a really long time, sometimes the knot releases after a while, but I have to do deep breathing to get through that pain which can go for 30-60 seconds and be very sharp and intense.

My son is four years old and has a lil' lump on his right side of neck it is tiny and soft and moves around , We have had it check out and doctors say its normal, but he has had it for awhile, should I be cocern and seek further? Will he have to have it removed later?
