It is significantly larger than my left side. I also developed a lump between my ear and jaw. (same side) It is not something that is easily felt from the outside by others. However, I can feel it and move it around. It hurts to do so though. After six months of on and off again low grade fevers of 99-100 degrees (my normal temp is 97.8 - 98) I went to a walk in clinic. The doctor ran a blood test on me and determined that my blood work was fine. they thought I was okay.
s not that painful but before it felt like I had strained a muscle in my neck and the lump itself is quite tender to touch. It isn't massive and certainly not noticeable as you have to actually touch my neck to feel it and there is a size difference between my right and left sides of my neck in terms of swelling.
I'm 17 and I've had lumps in my neck for at least five years (thats the furthest back I can remember anyway), the left side of my throat feels bigger. The lump is hard, moveable and painless, when i put my chin down I can move it around under my jaw, I can also do this on the right but the lump is much smaller. I'm worried it's gotten bigger as this is the first time I've noticed my actual neck feel bigger rather than just under my jaw (although i may just not have noticed).
I have a vein on left side of neck which has a small lump .This vein protrudes on left side of neck with small lump on bottom.What's wrong with me???
feeling started first, for about a week, and then the gland hurt in my neck, and then that stopped and traveled up to just below my ear, and then went over to just below my ear on the other side...and then the achiness around my neck (sometimes under jaw, sometimes on the front of my throat - which I don't see any evidence of a swollen thyroid).
On the left side of my neck (from the jaw bone to the center, between collar & jaw bones) I have a lump 2" x 3". Very hard , oval in shape. You can see it is under the skin & is easy to see , It is "big". "Should I try to "lance/drain it"???
But i still have this discomfort on either side under my jaw , i can still feel a lump either side too touch , under jawline. (If i feel for it) which the doctors say they cant. And also when i lie down on my left hand side only and feel my jaw on a certain point it gets quite painfull , when i stand it goes away

Hi, I'm a 26 year old male and recently I've had a few small lumps underneath my skin, along my jawline. They caused the surface of my skin to be slightly red, and they were very tender to the touch. They are no longer painful at all, but I can still feel one on my jaw, and it isn't completely fixed in place. If I push on it, it moves slightly. Also, one of them surfaced slightly and leaked clear fluid.
When I eat or drink anything it gets better though, the feeling of the lump goes away. Just a few weeks later, I began to feel an aching in the right side in one of my glands, about an 1 - 1 1/2" down from where my jaw line is. Soon after that I felt the gland swell, it feels round and squishy and I can sort of roll it around. From that point, the aching basically stopped at that location, and I started feeling aching just under my ear. The aching comes and goes.

i have something similar... not on the right side but my left side is a lump right next to my throat. i can push it back to the center and hear a click in my throat. its been there noticeably for maybe 6 months. now my lymph nodes right under my tongue and jaw bone are pretty obvious and haven't felt exposed like they are now. Ive been to the dr 3 times about the lump that comes and goes and they said its normal. same with the nodes.
I found a dime size painless lump under my jaw line on the right side. I have allergies to air irritants but I am not currently suffering from the symptoms and I don't have a cold. The left side has no lumps. Please help. (although no blood relation i just had a family member diagnosed with cancer in the same area) So I am very worried. Please Help.
Hi there. I have a lump, possibly a swollen gland on the left side of my neck, close to the jaw. According to the charts it looks like the jugulodigastric node and is right on top of the jugular. My best guess to size is just over a half inch. It isn't tender, just swollen. I just quit smoking and I'm 24 years old. I'm not sure how long it has been there, though I suspect its been a while (been monitoring it for a week now). I don't have any other symptoms that I'm aware of.

Today I woke up with a swollen lump located on the left side of my neck, under my ear. It's tender when I touch it. Yesterday, I woke up to what I think is a pimple on my left jaw line. I tried to pop it but nothing happened. Tried popping it again today and nothing. I can see about 3 openings and it is visibly swollen. The lump on my neck is about an inch long. What could this be? I am not feeling sick but these are other symptoms I have had for a while.
Please could someone help me. A month ago I woke up feeling sore in my left side through from my jaw down to my chest just above the top of my breast. By the end of the day I was in huge amounts of pain and couldn't move. The pain then moved into the front of my left shoulder going over the chest area and under the armpit. It started to get better but then I got the same pain in the right shoulder which travelled down my arm.
It feels like a ridge of muscle or tissue about half an inch under my cheekbone (zygomatic arch) and two inches in from my left ear. Not really painful but just feels weird and have expereinced numb tingly feelings inb the past couple of months. But I only noticed this lump about 2 weeks ago. Doc says it's just fibrous tissue or possibly swollen lymph tissue (my gums have been irritated/slightly infected recently). The lump is movable, and feels more pronounced when I clench my teeth.
