lump in neck getting smaller

I found a lump in the bottom of my throat on the right hand side. It is slightly smaller than a marble and slightly tender. It moves up and down when I swallow. I have no thyroid symptoms. I I went to the doctor today and he said that the lump was a vascular formation? That makes no sense to me. It seems rather large to be a vascular. How could he tell the difference between vascular and a thyroid nodule?

i was tickling my three year old on her neck and noticed a lump on her neck about the size of a lima bean and about an inch below her ear. I then remembered her having this lump as an infant but it being a lot smaller and i just brushed it off then but now that she's older and its gotten bigger i'm concerned... its on her right side and she doesn't have it on her left side.. i was wondering any suggestions on this.

Diagnosis: Nodules? I have 2 protruding nodules that are quite visible to the eye. at bottom of neck. General practitioner examined by hand and concluded that that the right hand side lump, covers pretty much all of the thyroid gland, to the right, and the left hand side one , is smaller, but also visible to eye. What does the size of the nodule indicate? Because of it's external protrusion, is the size of such a nodule, a cause for concern?

Good day! I found a small lump in the right side of my neck. It doesn't hurt. I cannot even see it but I can feel it. It seems to move a little when I want it to. I can say that it is really inside my neck. A relative told me that maybe it is a swollen lymph node. By the way, I am now in my middle term of treating tuberculosis and I'm now feeling fine. When my tb was diagnosed it was a latent one, which means I didn't feel any symptom of it (no cough, no night sweats, etc.).

Is it normal to have small, hard, just slightly smaller than pea sized bumps in this area of the neck? Or is it a good chance of being cancer? I will ask my Dr this week, but I am hoping to get some peace of mind until then. Thanks.

Hello sunday i woke up with a big lump on the back top of my neck by my head.. IT is sore and hurts, today i woke up and i have more little bumps going down my neck and one behined my ear.. i have one that moves on the rt side front of my throat right above my collar bone does anyone have any ideas what it could be?????

I have a smaller lump in the top of my armpit ( if that location makes sense) it doesn't hurt nor is uncomfortable. But I worries me, I do have a cold so I'm not sure if it is a lymph node. What else could it be? Should I go see a doctor? And how should I ask my parents to see the doctor?

I quit taking it Dec 07 and due to the fact that my ovary is still functioning I could not go on the the next medicine that I would have taken. s a possibility that a soft lump in your neck could be a type of lymphoma (cancer.) In that case you would need to have it removed ASAP, before it can spread to other parts of your body. You shouldn't be nervous, because that is rare, but it's best not to wait. Let us know what you find out!

I'm 17 and I've had lumps in my neck for at least five years (thats the furthest back I can remember anyway), the left side of my throat feels bigger. The lump is hard, moveable and painless, when i put my chin down I can move it around under my jaw, I can also do this on the right but the lump is much smaller. I'm worried it's gotten bigger as this is the first time I've noticed my actual neck feel bigger rather than just under my jaw (although i may just not have noticed).

Back in December 2012 when I did the ultrasound, the bigger lump was 1.8 x 2 x 3.8 cm in size, the smaller lump was 1.3 x 2 x 3.2 cm. I decided to keep them for now and just monitor them to see if they would get bigger. I did another ultrasound the other day, and interestingly, the bigger lump is now 3 x 4 x 4.7cm now (an increase from December), but the smaller lump is now 1.2 x 1.7 x 3 cm (a decrease from December). I had no idea that a breast lump could possibly decrease.

Not large lumps by the way, but not real small. about the size of a dime. They are not getting larger in size (or smaller if that matters) My concern for this is really inflating. What do you guys think? If you have any more questions just ask. Thanks in advance.

I noticed this weekend a big lump in neck between adams apple and base of neck; the lump moves when i swallow - went to er and it said swollen cartilage - i'm not comfortable with this diagnosis. Anyone else experienced this? thanks.
