Avatar n tn Towards the end of July I started to have a slight burning sensation in my breast and then my nipple felt like it was leaking, although it wasn't. That went on for a couple days, then my nipple felt normal again, but the burning has never went away. The sensation is intermittent, lasting only a second, but happening almost daily for the last 2 months. My Dr doesn't know what is causing it, but is sending me for another mammogram in Dec. Do you have any ideas?
Avatar f tn DR. Fernando, I posted on the 30th about burning stingy sensation in my R armpit. I failed to mention that it is not a continues sensation, it comes and goes all day. It is not bad, just enough for me to notice. I also noticed that there is a lump in the middle of my armpit. My L armpit does not have this. Could this just be a swollen lymph node?
Avatar n tn feels as though I do not have an infection but told me to finish all of my antibiotics just to keep everything covered. Has anyone had this extreme burning sensation in the area where a lump was found? Does anyone have similiar experiences or any insight into what might be going on?
Avatar f tn Hello, For the past 2 weeks i have a swelling under my left armpit and breasts tender and the sametime, sometimes i feel a burning sensation in my nipples. Do i need to be worried about the lump?
Avatar f tn I have had shingles in the past in my groin ( also rt side) and the burning sensation is the same. I never did get a skin rash. I asked a few different physicians but none could give an answer for possible cause. I let it ride, again, never got a skin rash. Later when I found a lump in my rt breast it was painful. I have been told that only 4 % of breast CA's are painful. I have continued to have the burning sensation, intermittently.
Avatar f tn I have been quite concerned because I have been getting the same symptoms as I was getting before my surgery, burning sensation in brrast along with some on and off jolts of pain. I will be going for a mammogram in zjanuarybut am going to ask my Doctor if I can go sooner as I have this strong feeling that something is not right. Will keep you posted as to what is found.
Avatar n tn Back in May 2012 I had an odd bout of pain, it was as if someone had beaten my upper back, I had pain that seemed to wrap around to the front causing what I would consider tightening in chest or sternum area, it lasted for 3 days,I did not go to Doctor or hospital, its a long story of husband out of town and daughter busy with two babies at home. Did not want to bother anyone. I did think I was having a heart attack, as I do have high cholesterol.
Avatar f tn Since then (about 1-2 weeks) I have had random pain in my left breast. It feels like a mild burning sensation on the skin around the outside of my nipple, accompanied by a pulling from the inside of my nipple to the inner side of my breast. Tonight as I was feeling around the area of pain I found the lump I had felt before. It seems semi-deep within the breast, but not necessarily so different than other tissue that I feel in my breasts, except that it actually feels round vs kinda ropey.
351724 tn?1267537018 I think any lump needs to be checked with a mamogram. I do know people can develope cysts in their breast also, but you really need to bring it to the attention of your doc. If you had your ovaries removed, are you on HRT? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to figure the best way to answer your questions.

Avatar f tn The sensation of burning in the breast is usually a neurological problem, as in a 'nerve problem'. This often happens in patients after they had a mastectomy or lumpectomy, as nerves have been cut. This symptom is usually temporary but hurts, i know. In your case, and I assume you have no history of surgery, I know that burning of a breast can be related to problems in other body parts and having nothing to do directly with the breast.
Avatar m tn what causes burning pain in nipples, feels like the pain is a burning sensation in my right nipple
Avatar f tn Watch for fever, chills, redness or sharp pain in the breaat. All of these things can indicate mastitis. I would try a cold or warm compress and keep that breast soft. Hope you get relief soon.
1245359 tn?1268596667 The reason for breast pain is not clearly understood, and is not usually associated with breast cancer. Breast pain is sometimes associated with hormonal variations and is then called cyclical breast pain. Noncyclical breast pain does not seem to be linked to hormonal variations and is often localized to one area of the breast tissue. Noncyclical breast pain may or may not be the result of an injury to the breast.
Avatar n tn i went to the doctor to discuss a lump in my left breast. turns out after stopping breast feeding two and a half years ago i still have a little bit of milk. i have pain on a daily basis, and now a burning feeling. i have only leaked milk three times in the past 4 months and only a little bit. she tested my milk to find out i did have a little bit of bacteria. so i took the antibiotics and the pain and lumps did not go away. now my right breast is doing it.
Avatar f tn Hi, I've been experiencing some burning sensation on my back neck hair on the left side, i first felt it when i was feeling tense/stressed about smth. When i touched the burning area i felt bumps in there, and when i took a pic of it it's looks like reddish lump. It doesn't itch or anything, it just burns. And i don't feel it all the time, just when I'm getting stressed out or just tense. Can someone explain what's happening to my skin?
Avatar m tn hello everyone I have a strong family history of breast cancer mom and aunt had masectomies, i myself have a long history of papillomas and numerous breast biopies, 3 excisional,2 core, and ductal removals in both, all of the problems mostly with my right breast, until 6 months ago, i had a core biopsy for calcifications and being highly suspicious, came back benign, green fluid still persisted doc wanted to go in excisionally considering family history,he did a major ductal removal, he said i had
Avatar f tn I was diagnosed today with a papillary lesion in my right breast. I am very happy it is not breast cancer. Most of the postings I've read on this site have positive feedback about the removal of the lesion and the fast recovery. But I have a few questions. Did the papilloma return? Did anyone have a history of breast cancer in their family? I understand that the lesions are not "cancerous" but could be hiding cancer? How quickly is the surgery scheduled?
