Avatar f tn I'm 19 weeks pregnant and found a lump in my breast.. It's about the size of a bb and really hard had husband feel and he says he can feel it move a little but I can't it feels very fixed to one spot! Any other pregnant moms have this! I'm so scared!
Avatar n tn I am 20 years old and have had an ultrasound about 5 years ago which determined I have a non-cancerous lump in my left breast. I will admit I used to try and pump small bits of milk out of it when I was younger out of curiosity (very rarely), and little to nothing would come out. Maybe the lump is a result of this? Today it feels like I have 2 cysts instead of just one, I'm looking into having another ultrasound when I can finally afford it... What is inside a cyst?
Avatar n tn i found a hard painfull lump in my breast 2day.its in the side of my left breast and it feels like the lump is inside my breast.
Avatar f tn Hi. Thanks for the additional information. Since that lump is near your breast and has caused your breast size to change, I think it's significant enough to warrant a more thorough investigation. You may wish to have a breast ultrasound or a repeat mammography done, so you can be sure if that lump is anything serious.
Avatar n tn Yes, the biopsy confirmed that both are fibroadenomas. Back in December 2012 when I did the ultrasound, the bigger lump was 1.8 x 2 x 3.8 cm in size, the smaller lump was 1.3 x 2 x 3.2 cm. I decided to keep them for now and just monitor them to see if they would get bigger. I did another ultrasound the other day, and interestingly, the bigger lump is now 3 x 4 x 4.7cm now (an increase from December), but the smaller lump is now 1.2 x 1.7 x 3 cm (a decrease from December).
Avatar f tn I just received my results from a diagnostic mammorgram and breast ultrasound. My initial mammorgram showed calcifications and an 8mm focal asymmetry upper outer quadrant. The new test results read: breast tissue has a mildly dense parenchymal pattern. The focal asymmetry in the right upper outer quadrant almost completely thins on additional imaging, likely representing superimposition of benign breast tissue. Ultrasound findings: ultrasound performed from 8-12 o'clock.
Avatar n tn The most obvious symptom in males would be a palpable or visible lump in the breast tissue. As a rule male breast cancer appears in the later years but anything is possible. If you have noticed a lump (no matter how small) please make an appointment with preferably a Breast Specialist for an exam and possible Mammogram. Regards ...
Avatar n tn Dr. Found a lump in the right breast he said that he felt that it had grown a little bit. and wanted to get it out. He also said it was moveable. I am 50 years old. Can there be cancer in the lump is that how it starts and then attaches it self.
Avatar f tn I am 8 1/2 months pregnant and noticed a small hard lump in my left breast about 2 months ago (underneath my areola towards the very bottom) it almost felt like a bb, firm, immobile, and was smooth shaped. I had my OB look at it/feel it and she said that she didn't find it concerning as their are tons of changes going on with my breasts because I'm pregnant. She ordered me to have a ultrasound of it but I'm unAble to get in for 3 weeks!
Avatar f tn I will be 22 in 3 weeks and I recently found a lump in my left breast above my nipple, I called my doctor and had an appointment 2 days later, he sent me to have an ultrasound done, it came back and he said my "lump" is 3.8 centimeters an something about " echo" and " float", and that there is no liquid inside my lump, my app was June 26, my doc said to keep eye on it and if it he's bigger to call him for another app before my 6 week breast check up.
Avatar f tn hey i am 19 yrs. old and have been observing a lump in my breast from atleast past 2-3 yrs. it is kind of stable in size and dos not pain at all.... Recently i have come across the facts of breast cancer and fibroadenoma. i am a bit reluctant to go for a checkup as it would cause anxiety at home...also through the info. about fibroadenoma i am positive that the lump is it....but still tell me..is there a possibility that i am suffering from cancer or even if it's a fibroadenoma..
Avatar f tn I am 37 years old and have been experiencing localized breast pain for more than 2.5 years. It started in the last few months of nursing my first child, continued after nursing, during my second pregnancy and again during nursing my second child. A few months back upon weening my second child the pain in this area became much more intense and then returned to the "normal" level upon completion of nursing. I have had two ultrasounds...
900105 tn?1241939323 This one is on the indise of the right breast. Can hormonal lumps appear in any area in the breast?
Avatar f tn I am 20 years old and scheduled for an ultrasound of a breast lump under my areola. I was just wondering if the lump is found to be solid, does that automatically mean that it is cancer? If not then does the doctor remove it immediately for a biopsy?
Avatar n tn I am 27 years old and have found a hard pea size lump in my right breast almost in my armpit area. It is painful and tender to the touch. Also I have had discharge from my nipples that is a yellow/green color, I had a child almost 2 years ago and don't know if it is possible that I may still be producing milk. I have not breastfeed in over a year. The discharge is from the same breast were I have found the lump. Is this something that I should be concerened about?
1904872 tn?1325822415 On 11/11/11 I had a breast ultrasound and the doctor discovered a lump and two cysts on my right breats. He asked me to come back in 6 months. Sometimes it hurt and lately I feel uncomfortable because the bones near my armpit sometimes hurt. Should I be worried? Thanks in advance. My family has a history of cancer. I went for tumor makers test last week and the results are ok.
1204692 tn?1266588010 Inside each of my breast it feels like they are very lump and I can palpate a large lump in each one that feels the size of a small golf ball. The breast itself feels dense and very little fat, more lump. The ultrasound and mamo came back fine saying I had extremely dense breasts. After the mamo they called me the next day to return for another pic and they said they say a cyst, but then after they rechecked they said it was fine.
Avatar f tn In the meantime try to get in touch with a Breast Cancer Center or a Breast Specialist in Cyprus and see if you can get an appointment sooner. I sincerely hope that you'll find a quick solution to this problem. Wishing you all the best...
Avatar n tn i have a lump in my right breast that i found in the shower. i am 43. after going to my gyn he wants me to have a diagnostic mammogram and a diagnostic ultrasound. I DO NOT WANT THE MAMMOGRAM. i have done tons of research and they are not accurate to say the least. they are painful (yes, i haven't spoken to a woman yet who says they are not painful), degrading and at times dangerous. i have had two chest xrays in the past and do not want to subject my body to further unnecessary radiation.
Avatar f tn My daughter is 19 years old. She found a lump in her left breast. She had an ultrasound done today. I would like to know exactly what dense fibroglandular tissue was identified in the region of underlying solid or cystic nodule mean. Does this mean that it could be a cyst or and is not a cyst?
Avatar n tn The Ultrasound is pretty much self explanatory ... they did find a suspicious lesion that requires some type of biopsy. Seeing a Breast Surgeon is an excellent recommendation and a 1 month wait isn't anything to be concerned about. They evidently DID find the lump during Ultrasound since it's described in detail in the report. You might call the Surgeon's office and tell them if they have a cancellation you would be willing to come in on short notice.
Avatar f tn 5cm) in my right armpit. My doc did a breast examination and an ultrasound reported multiple cysts in each of my breasts (1mm, 5mm, 4mm). He said a mammogram may not be necessary and gave me Vitamin E pills. I finished the 3 month course. This was 4yrs ago. I haven’t gone back to him. But still have the cysts in my breast and the lump under my arm. I cannot detect any growth in the past 4yrs, they remain of the same size. They donot move around too, fixed to the origin. Pls advice.
Avatar f tn thanks a lot! Feel releifed after seeing your message. My tumor is painless and after seeing the report doctor suggested to take it off after 2 months.
Avatar f tn i am a 30 year old woman who just recently went in for a mammogram which came back there was a mass in my right breast under my pit, well they then sent me to have an ultrasound done on the suspitious area. the ultrasound came back with no findings of a lump what so ever so my doctor says its just thick breast tissue and he wouldnt worry about it. to have a folloe up mammogram in 6 months. but i am still worried why wouldnt the ultrasound show anything but the mammogram did?
454898 tn?1205935993 What is your age? Have you noticed any abnormal features on breast self examination like a breast lump, nipple discharge or skin changes? Use some warm compresses and do not shave, wax or use a deodorant for a few days - the lump should resolve on its own. If it still persists, you would need to see your doctor for a clinical evaluation. Let us know if you have any other doubts and keep us posted on how you are doing. Regards.
Avatar f tn I found a pea like lump in my breast. I have been for a mammogram and a ultra sound scan. These both showed up clear. The doctor felt the lump and said it felt like fatty/normal breast tissue. She did a biopsy and will write to me with the results. What can it be? Nothing shown up on both scans, so I'm confused. There is definately a round hard lump there!
Avatar f tn I am glad that you are seeing your doctor tomorrow. This visit is long overdue, and,if I may add, you should not have ignored this lump in your breast for as long as you have. There is something that you can do to lessen the pain...try to limit your caffeine intake as much as possible (chocolate coffee cola).Your doctor will examine your breasts tomorrow and maybe order an Ultrasound for a better understanding of what this lump might be.Best wishes and God Bless.
