First of all, about 4 years ago I found a lump under my chin that was painful, so I went to my doctor he did blood work and found my white blood cell count was high so he did more blood work for everything form aids to cancer and couldnt find anythingso he sent me to get a cat scan and ultra sound of under the chin and my thyroid and all that came back with is that my thyroid was slightly emlarged but no problem with it, then i was sent to mouth nose and throat specialist, an allergist an oncoli

I Need your advice please, I am only a 13 year old male, however, I noticed a pea-sized lump behind my chin on my throat, I asked my uncle who is a cardiologist about it around 6 months ago, and he told me it was just a swollen lymph node and was nothing to be worried about.It is still there. I have also recently noticed a small lump on the right side of my right testicle, I can squeeze it and it is quite hard and painless, but when I do I get a pain in my groin area.

The lump was a necrotized lymph node and necrotized fat.the tissue where the lump was removed is still swollen and it has been 8 weeks since it was removed. I had a good jawline prior to having this "maintenance" cosmetic surgery performed. I now have what looks like a double chin and its kind of jowly from the swelling of the tissue.

Hey recently, I got rash behind my right ear which caused a small lump to form behind it (I have eczema and I get lumps behind ears every year some are painful so not worried about it). However, a few days ago, I noticed that my right neck was slightly harder than the left one. So I spend hours and hours trying to check if I have lymph nodes.

I'm 22 years old and I've recently noticed a lump that is about 1 cm in diameter under my chin, back towards the neck. It seems to be round. I first noticed it because my neck felt tender and the ear on that same side ached slightly. You can't notice it by looking. To feel the lump you have to push up under the chin near the neck, and then it pops out. I'm able to move the lump to my jawline. It's very, very mobile.

I recently noticed that when I put my chin to my chest, I could feel a lump or something on the left side of under my jawbone. I felt around, and I can't really feel anything unusual when my head is upright. Or rather, I can feel something smooth there, but I think I always had it on both sides. But when I tilt my head forwards and poke my fingers underneath my jawbone I can feel a small lump that I can "move" to the chin side of my jawbone quite easily.

however, since the accident, my chin has been numb and does not feel like it has regained any feeling. It feels like there is a lump in my chin, but x-rays did not show that anything was broken and if I hold the lump, I can move it around on my chin. The worse injury appeared to be on my upper lip, but that is getting better. Is there an explanation for why my chin is still not getting better? Is there possible permanent nerve damage to the chin area?

Ive recently been very worried about my health orally, as I have experienced pains in my mouth. Actually I cant even figure out if it is on my tongue or my throat, but when I swallow I feel like a husk is stuck somewhere behind there. It gives me this really irritating feeling. There is no pain or any swelling, just a lot and lot of irritation. Anyone been through this? How do I get this cleared? It is soooo darn irritating.

Re: lump under chin, I would go straight to the dr. get a blood test for EBV and be referred to an ENT. If you live in the country go to the city, don't mess around with this or wait too long. It's always better to be safe than sorry. this if speaking from experience. I pray you'll be okay.

i m having a lump behind my right ear since 14 months.in the starting it never hurts,but recently its getting bigger and painful as well.

I'm sixteen and yesterday i noticed an almond sized bump behind me ear. It wasnt hurting on its only, only very slightly when i touch it and it got a little bigger when i touched it. About 8 days ago she went to the doctor with strep-throat. Now today I noticed she has a lump behind her right ear, should I be concerned? I read it could just be her body fighting the infection. Should I get her to the doctor or should I just keep an eye on the lump for a few days? She is 8 years old.

Well about 5 years ago maybe more at the age of 9 I found a lump behind my right ear it was movable and was absolutely painless I forgot about it and didn't tell anybody because I was so young.

The lump next to the chin would not usually be looked at during a thyroid ultrasound (unless done by a physician specializing in neck ultrasound) -- the thyroid measurements are normal (perhaps in the upper end of normal) but this does not explain the lump. Would see an ENT about the lump next to your chin. It may be a thyroglossal duct cyst (relatd to thyroid but much higher in the neck than the usual thyroid position).
