lump above ovary

The reason for this is because I can feel a lump in my lower left side, right where I think my left ovary is located, however, know that the sigmoid colon is located in this same area and so I'm trying to determine whether the lump is caused by my ovary or by my colon? I had an ultrasound done a few weeks back and it didn't show an ovarian cyst (I am prone to getting them often and also have endometriosis).

i have felt this for a little over a month now....im wondering if its my right ovary? its right above the pubic bone. and if so could this be because ive been bleeding for a month now? Im really freaking out! thinking all kinds of scary thoughts now!!!! also...when i had the transvaginal Nov 18th wouldnt they have "looked" at my right ovary too?? the doc knew the cyst was on the left so im worried they didnt even look at the right ovary! HELP !!

Ovaries are pretty small and are buried in the abdomen. Are you certain it is your ovary? And the marble-sized lump, how did you diagnose this, by ultrasound? You might want to see your doctor.

I am 28 years old. At 25 I discovered a lump in my groin area very similar to a hernia except it only showed up during ovulation, middle of cycle. I have seen many doctors who cannot diagnose it. It is 1 inch above pubic bone, 2 inches away from crease in leg.It shows up on left side only, sometimes back to back months but occasionally skipping a month. Due to the fact that this was unable to be diagnosed I tried to get pregnant.

Yesterday I had chills very tired but no fever but I also have multiple sclerosis. Today along with the lump, I felt more of the same way as well as a pain near my right ovary as if I was going to get my period. Hi. do you mean like you push where your ovary is and you feel a lump? Or do you mean lower and it is like a little lump like a pea under the skin (possibly a lymph node). Is it sore? This just may be related to getting your period but do check it after to see if it is still there. what did you do about the abnormal cells? Did you have those frozen off?

I have an orange size lump in my lower right quadrant (above pelvis). It only pops out when I'm lying on my back. I am having a CT Scan today for that. The said he will look to see if it's a hernia even though he doesn't feel one. I am also having a pendoscopy (sp?) which is a colonoscopy and an endoscopy all in one on June 14th to look for things like ulcers, masses, irritation, etc.

Could endometriosis cause lymph nodes to become swollen and therefore make you feel it? The lump is located right where my left ovary is located. Could it be my colon that is swollen (although I'm not feeling constipated and have had normal bowel movements, however painful bowel movements). Is the colon on top of the ovary or is the ovary on top of the colon inside of the female pelvis? Thanks for any answers.

s painful and that lump part feels swollen all the time. I can feel the lump almost right beneath the skin, and it's really hard. The lump is quite obvious especially when I stand up rather than lying down. Any help will do, thanks in advance! p.s. just wondering if you would be able to feel your inflammed ovary or fallopian tubes with your fingers. I thought they were quite deep under that skin. but i'm not so sure any more, because this lump doesn't go away...

hi, just been the doctors and i have a lump on my ovary i have ben bleeding and i have had my womb takin out and me cervix waiting to go the hospital any idea what it is?

When pregnant both times my tummy muscles split. The past 6 months I have had a lump above my belly button that comes and goes. Since having my c sections I sometimes experience a tingly, prickly burning feeling from my pelvis up to my tummy making my clothes uncomfortable to wear. Over Christmas the lump returned and I had to wear lose clothing as it was so uncomfortable. The lump has now gone again. I'm not sure if it could be a Hernia? Scar tissue? Splitting of my tummy muscles or ibs?
