lump above ankle

Suggestions please - I have a lump / bump on either life of my legs above my ankles. I speed skate - the boots are tight and hard. When I don’t skate it is fine - when I do the pressure is sore on the lumps. I haven’t skated for 2 weeks and the bumps are still there. It looks like I have 2 ankle bones. Thanks so much!

s down for a little while, maybe a month. I also have a lump that seems like a vein jetting out of the outside of my leg above the ankle. It isn't discolored, and is soft to touch. I watch my diet very closely because I have a recurring SIBO infection, but I have noticed a little weight gain.

i have a very similar lump on my shin right leg, seems to be 6 inch above ankle and slightly to the right of shin bone like you mentioned. i dont recall ever hitting or bruising it to cause this, also it is somewhat painful there is no indication of irritation or bug bite or bruise but when i rub it it feels like it is filled with liquid or some sort.

There’s a lump on the back side of my leg above my ankle. The lump in the groin has absolutely no opening so ingrown hair is ruled out. They all 3 hurt and are pretty firm. I don’t know if any of this would have to do with it but I have degenerative disc disease(back problems) and also really bad migraines mostly on the left side. And fluttering in my left ear. I know I’m so mad at myself for waiting so long to get the migraines and fluttering checked out.

I found a small lump about 1 cm. in diameter under my ankle bone a few months ago. So I seen an orthopedic surgeon about it. She did an x-ray and said it was a peroneal tuberosity or possible ganglion cyst. She said the x-ray didn't show calcification. She did not biopsy it or order an MRI, & sent me home. She said nothing to worry about. I got a second opinion from a podiatrist.

Im 85 yrs old a lump has formed on the back of my leg right of above my ankle an it hurts when I touch it

I have a lump in my lower leg its on the side just above my ankle, I have had it checked out and the doctor that seen me just said it was tissue, but now i have burning in my leg and and one of my veins just above the lump as risen on my leg and it is now giving my terrible pain. I am flying abroad in the next two weeks and im am now really worrying about this lump because i have a toothache feeling in my leg and burning. Can anyone relate to this or has anyone heard about something like this?

Hi i was wondering if anyone can help me, I have had a lump in my lower left leg for 2 years now every now and then it swells up and gives me pain its in the left leg and its about 3 inches above the ankle in a straight line it gets really painful gives me pain in the the bottom of the foot and in the ankle and also this might sound strange but it sometimes feels as if someone is dripping cold water down my leg, does anyone know what this could be. I walked on my sprain for a week before seeing a doctor, but ever since my fall the area above my left ankle has been numb. Occassionally I will feel a tingling sensation like a foot "waking up" after "falling asleep" but then it will go back to being numb. Any recommendations for treatments or possible theories as to what I did? Thanks!

Few months ago i saw a small soft lump just below my right ankle, it is not painful but it moves when i move my foot. it appear as if there is water in it but it also feel like there is a small lump in it . I notice that there is one more on my other ankle on the other foot. I been going to the gym also and been lifting weights i do not know if that have anything to do with it. Am a bit concern now because they are not moving, is there any advice or do you have any idea what it can be ..

As the time passes by, i noticed that my sprained feet will hurt if i walk to long and i noticed this lump below my ankle. I have what I believe is a heel spur on the back of my right heel. There is a lump sticking out, not big. About 4-6 weeks ago, I started having Achilles pain & now I have a lump on my heel. About 2 weeks ago i found a very hard lump on my ankle under the skin. Its about the diameter of a quarter and its located on the outerside in the very back. (side of achilles tendon) In the last few days it has been causing me a lot of pain. About a month ago, I noticed a small cyst or lump on the side of my right foot below my ankle. It feels a little bigger than a pea. recently I have been getting a larger lump swelling on the inside of my left ankle. The pain is now creeping up my leg to the knee.
