My doctor sent me back for a MRI of the spleen and liver because the pain radiated front to back. That just showed cysts in the kidney (fluid filled). Meanwhile I was off work for nearly a week and now am regrouping as to what to do next. My doctor doesn't want to refer me to a Chiropractor. I try to use China Gel also to rub across the lower back. I use compression stockings and special ankle supports while on my feet at work. I just started wrapping my knee.

I am ok, but if I wake up in the morning hours; I am in severe pain - in the lower back (kidney area, right and left hip (on the sides) and upper back in the middle. After about 30 min to 1 hr; it goes away. I have a sedentary job and if I sit too long, my hips will ache again and makes it slightly painful to get out of chair, but nothing like the morning.

Have they done a screen for a Kidney infection. With Kidney infections you get extreme pain in the lower back. You can also experience nausea, fatigue, chills, and a fever. I would call your Dr. back and tell them you want to know what is going on as this is definitely not normal. This may have nothing to do with your meds, or disorder.

Do you experience interrupted flow (urinating in waves instead of in a steady stream)？Have you experienced any weight loss? Do you have a pain in the back,lower back or above the waist? Do you experience pain during sexual intercourse? Do you experience frequent urination or frequent urge to urinate? Have you noticed any unusual change in the urine colour? Are there any accompanying symptoms e.g abdominal pain?

But, every morning i wake up with the worst lower back pain. It doesnt matter what position i sleep in, i wake up in so much pain. Is this normal already?

t got any bleeding, spotting or cramps but had a bit of belly ache last night before the back pain started but it just felt like normal belly ache and it wasn't really bad. Any advice as I don't want to waste an appointment??

I was wondering if anyone knew the difference between lower back pain or a kidney problem?? For the last 2 days, I have had this annoying ache in my back. It's the lower right side and radiates straight up a few inches as well. I usually get sciatic nerve pain pretty bad during pregnancy and have had some this time around and I know what that feels like. But this is different.

(kinda disappointed lol) I woke up this morning with pretty painful lower back pain, and ive had it all day. The only time it feels better is when im laying down, and its definitely at its worse when im standing or walking. I havent felt back pain this bad yet and havent done anything to pull a muscle. Hes been in the birthing position a few weeks now, i havent dropped yet either. Does this sound like labor could be approaching soon????

54yr old female,have had this chronic lower back pain that radiates to hip area.I do have arthritis in lower back and hip,but the meds for it does nothing.I stretch every night before bed and every morning before getting out to no avail.I look like I'm 90 yrs old after a pain full ten minutes of trying to get out of bed.I have to inhale to stand up straight(omg the pain) but once I pee and get into kitchen for coffee I'm fine.The only doctor I haven't seen is a nerve doctor.

i recently started having SEVERE lowere back pain mainly when i'm standing.i am currently cooking in in a school. so i stand pretty much in one spot with limited movement. the pain is so severe it had me in tears( i can handle pain) this pain is at least 4x worst than my back labor with 2 of my children and no apin meds. the pain eases when i sit after about 10 min or so but comes back once i start standing again. i am fine when i lay down i'm ok when i get up in the morning .

Can any std's cause lower back pain? Like so bad this morning I could hardly move. I was thinking it was a kidney stone but my girlfriend who has them like once a year said you can't really pee when you have them. Could it be something with my prostate? Do std's affect your prostate?
