Avatar m tn I have been experiencing low testosterone myself and I have read a great deal on the importance of testosterone in the male. My male dog is fixed. He is 3 years old and seems very healthy. But i've begun to worry about his testosterone levels and how it effects his health. Is there a natural way to support my dogs testosterone levels. Any thoughts?
Avatar m tn Sometimes adding progesterone or correcting adrenal issues can improve low testosterone symptoms. However, in some cases it may be necessary to supplement with testosterone.
Avatar f tn What are the causes of high testosterone level without any effect on the body ???? the problem in testosterone receptor or in what ??
Avatar m tn What??? You have fighting dogs or what??!!
Avatar n tn Hello, The typical male testosterone level is between 250ng/dl to 850 ng/dl. The primary treatment for low testosterone is testosterone supplement. Testosterone replacement therapy may be in the form of skin gel, injections, long acting pellets, patches or oral inserts. Clomid is not the primary treatment mode for testosterone deficiency. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
Avatar m tn I've never heard of nlovadex. i'm learning as we go. We dont know why his testosterone is low. The DR said it's still in normal ranges but it's on the lower side of normal. I think the main reason his sperm count is low is because he has a varicocele. Our DR I guess is just trying different things with us. I'll let you know next month if the clomid works or not.
Avatar m tn Hi, I just got my exams an endocrinologist sent me, in them I have low testosterone I have 1.2 when the minimum is 2.7 if I am not mistaken, the thing is I guess now I will be patient a hormone replacement therapy for increase my testosterone and let me know what to expect, experiences or something that can help me with this new experience , thanks.
Avatar m tn In any case, I would advise you to consult an endocrinologist, because low libido and increased fatigue can be associated not only with low testosterone production, but also with disorders in the thyroid gland. Take tests for thyroid hormones and perform an ultrasound exam.
Avatar n tn 47-244 pg/mL. Is it lower than this? Some common low testosterone symptoms are decrease in sex drive, ejaculation problems, shrinking testicle, fatigue, loss of body hair, difficulty gaining or maintaining muscle, depression, and loss of strength. With testosterone replacement therapy there will be improvement in all these parameters with time. Only this therapy helps in case of low hormone. The cause has to be found out and treated.
Avatar n tn I think he is very comfortable with a low sex drive and the minimal amout of sex. I am sure the low testosterone level and the working alot of hours doesn't help matters, but I think he was like this the WHOLE time you. He might have put more effort into having the amount of sex that you wanted WHILE you all were dating and even that DIP over time. Secondly, you KNEW this was an issue BEFORE you married the man too.
Avatar m tn Sorry for the delay responding to your comment. Although low testosterone is not as common in younger males, it does happen. If you get a doctor that will not run a blood test, I am not sure what recourse you have in the UK. If all else fails, you can try buying DHEA over the counter at a vitamin or health food store (time released if possible). DHEA is a precursor to testosterone and can help raise your levels.
Avatar f tn I found out in 2019 I had low testosterone (0.6) and high SHBG (134), still same numbers as of June this year. Back in 2019, A doctor prescribed me AndrolGel. After a week or two into the treatment I had insane heart palpitations, high BP’s, dizzyness, sweating, headaches, the works pretty much. After a month or two of ER visits and doctors telling me it’s not the AndrolGel, I stopped it. Told me everyone has testosterone in their body speech. My dosage was 1 sachet of 2.5gm 1% twice a week.
610665 tn?1237848048 I am concerned about my brother who has been diagnosed with Low testosterone and to cut a long story short I was hoping I could get some help with this and understand this as I am very concerned and worried for him... He is taking steroids and I worry that this is not good for him??? and what this will do in the long run... He has gotten himself into trouble with the law and I believe this is due to his mental state. I feel that I am not able to help in anyway due to not really understanding.
Avatar m tn My boyfriend is a Tc survivor and your question is definitely a valid one as we know all too well what living with low testosterone can entail. Ive mentioned this website to others even though its a testicular cancer site there is a section in the forums on this issue which may be of some help to you. www.tccancer.com. My other suggestion is to find a good endocrinologist there are tests that your PCP probably didn't run that an endo could check for you. Hope things get better soon.
Avatar n tn I have multiple symptoms which I am starting to believe might be low testosterone. I have lost most of the hair on my legs, chest, etc., have had extreme difficulty in getting an erection, have been suffering from memory loss which seems to be getting worse (Dr. has checked for dementia/alzheimers and says not to worry), low energy, muscle definition is disappearing. These symptoms have evolved over the last 10 years but seem to be getting worse at a faster rate. I have just turned 60.
Avatar f tn DH had his bloodwork done the other day and he has low testosterone still. Haven't gotten the results of the sperm analysis yet, but I assume it's going to be low. What are the options to treat this since testosterone replacement would most likely make him temporarily sterile. Been ttc for almost a year and we keep having this issue.
Avatar m tn If your Testosterone is really low, you may get prescribed something to help get that level raised and the doctor might give you Citranox to take. Eating right and getting some excercise will help and a little bit of Red wine also may help. I am not a Doctor but I know that there is stuff out there to help with Low Testosterone. The doctor may want to do an ultrssound on you to see if you really have ED and what your treatment options may be.
Avatar m tn Hello, Microscopic hematuria can be due to urinary tract (bladder) infection, swelling in the filtering system of the kidneys, stone in bladder or in a kidney, blood disease, like sickle cell anemia, certain medicines and tumors in the urinary tract. Also the causes of low testosterone can be primary, secondary or tertiary and all the causes need to be ruled out.
1923979 tn?1322791863 Well im not a doctor(lol) but to me this seems like a postural problem, I cant see how testosterone could be a possible cause of "strange walking" dude and im kinda sure it's totally solvable, so don't worry too much about it, im sure someone with more experience is gonna answer you, cheers
Avatar f tn Obviously if it is low testosterone, then the question for the doctor to figure out is why it's low, meaning that he or she might find out "something else" too. See the doctor, get a referral to an endocrinologist, run some tests. Good luck, I hope the answer is an easy one.
