Avatar n tn A typical normal testosterone level range given is 260 -1080 ng/dl. Your testosterone level is low when compared with normal range. It is possible for you to overcome low testosterone by following the below diet. 1. Basically you should eat balanced and healthy diet. 2. Fruits and vegetables should be major part of your diet. 3. High levels of zinc are needed for better sexual health.
Avatar m tn Hey everyone, there is technology to the rescue and it's not that new. I just posted this elsewhere. I have no connections to medical or drug companies whatsoever. This helped me and I offer it for you to check out for yourselves. -------------------- Here's something that worked and is working for me. I'm 59 and had low testosterone (220) for the last 10 years or so. I hated the gel and didn't use it. Last Dec I discovered a slow release testosterone under-skin implants.
Avatar m tn Hi everyone I just joined here I found this forum on google. I was just having this problem here. I went to the urologist a month ago because I wanted to ask him some questions. I was asking him why my penis hasn't grown like other people and he made me do some blood tests. It hasn't grown at all since I was born. It's been the same way since then! He said I have very low testosterone and you probably were low when you were younger also. He said my level was something like 3.30.

Avatar m tn It's really impossible to say. As you say, that's a low dose of zinc, well within limits, and probably not enough to leach out other nutrients to a noticeable degree. But zinc can be stimulating in small ways -- it ups immune system activity and it also can affect testosterone levels, usually in a beneficial way but I suppose a very sensitive person could notice. You also could be sensitive to the picolinic acid.
Avatar f tn Hi, I am 22 years old and fear I may be suffering from low testosterone. My mood is very up and down. When it's down i feel physically weak, tired, uncoordinated, lack of a sex drive, socially anxious, general sense of fear, physically bloated and a generally unhealthy look. The physical symptoms can be so severe that I can look a few years younger and heavier suddenly just from the facial bloating and bloating in my pectoral and lower stomach area.
Avatar m tn From what I've read in a number of studies, hypothyroidism could definitely be a factor for both. You really need to get some further testing done. TSH is a pituitary hormone that is affected by so many variables that it really does not correlate with the biologically active thyroid hormones, Free T3 and Free T4, much less with hypo symptoms.
Avatar m tn 2 years ago (27yrs old) i got blood work done and my testosterone level was 330. I knew it was low because of erectile dysfunction and at the same time frame i was in powerlifting and took high calorie meals prohormones. Prohormones lowered my testosterone levels and shoot my cholesterol level to 225. Erection quality has been poor.

Avatar f tn Hello, What is the level of his testosterone? Normally the levels of LH and FSH will be high if the testosterone level is determined to be low by the brain. It therefore implies that the problem is mainly with the testes. Varicocele does affect the sperm production in the testes as it increases the temperature of the scrotum, thus interfering with the functions of the other healthy testicle also.
Avatar n tn After multiple years of appointments, referrals and diagnostic tests without answers I am now resorting to the internet. In 2019 I noticed a complete lack of sex drive, after a couple of months I realised this isn't normal for a 22-year-old so I went to the doctors and had some blood tests. These tests revealed an extremely low testosterone of 43 ng/dL (1.5 nmol/L) and extremely elevated LH and FSH (21.2 iu/L and 48.
Avatar m tn Thyroid dysfunction, vascular diseases like atherosclerosis, peripheral vascular disease and many chronic diseases can cause this problem. What is the cause of low sperm count? If the cause is known then medical or surgical intervention may be effective. Empirically many medical approaches have been tried for treating this condition like using clomid, tamoxifen, vitamin E, testosterone, vitamin C,antioxidants, etc.
623156 tn?1322865851 Research has shown with 15 mgs a day in men it can increase semen and testosterone production, in women it can help ovulation and fertility. Natural resources of Zinc are fish, oysters, crab, turkey, chicken and beef. In the newsletter it was mentioned that there have been conflicting opinions about fertility boosting foods. I'm the ultimate optomist. It's seems to be a more wholistic approach. I would check with your dr and see what she or he has to say.
Avatar m tn You may be prescribed transdermal testosterone. It comes in 2 mg/day and 4 mg/day patches. It is very expensive. And a very controlled drug. You place the patch on your forearm or leg every evening. Be careful not to use more than one patch a day. Unfortunately, it will not assist in obtaining an erection, however it will definitely increase libido and desire for opposite sex companionship.
Avatar m tn The meds the doc gave you will help with the low testosterone levels and yes because of that being low it can effect your sperm count, but at least you know now and are going in the right direction to fix it.
