Avatar m tn I apologize for those of you that have and/or may have TC, for asking this question here; however, I was not able to find a forum for Testosterone Issues. Please accept my apology and understand that I am hoping that someone here can answer my quandary. I'm 34, I do not have any symptoms of ED, mood swings, depression, etc... however I have been experiencing extreme joint pain and I'm going gray at an alarming rate... lol. My Test Levels have been low for approx.
Avatar m tn But he did not tell me any thing more. Could this low level of testosterone be causing my headaches? What usually causes a low testosterone level? How concerned should I be? I am only 21, and I was involved in several blasts while deployed in Afghanistan last year. They say that I received a moderate TBI from one of the blasts. Other symptoms are depression, lack of energy, trouble sleeping, and a irregular heart beat. I don't know if any of them are related.
Avatar n tn , sure how often I should get 50 mg testosterone injections.. Have had 4 already over a 4 week period and am feeling CONSIDERABLY better.
6970651 tn?1386600870 4 Yes, I am on BIH since 2006, but my doctor refused to change my compound when I told her that I was having nipple soreness so I could not take the daytime troche, because estrogen dominance is the reason for that - so as a result I am low on my testosterone and progesterone (by half) So I went looking for another doctor. I have been on very low dose 15mg. Armour for about a year along with 200mcg of Selenium and 12.5mg Iodoral.
206807 tn?1331936184 A while back I had asked a question and Mike S. suggested I get my testosterone level checked. Over the past few months I have been constantly nose diving and felt that I would soon crash and burn. After doing a brief research on Interferon and Testosterone, I went to the Doctor. After explaining to him what I have been going through he immediately suggested ADs. I told him about my research and he agreed that I need my Testosterone Level checked.
Avatar m tn How long does it take to reflect the changes on my testosterone level.I am recently married and lost my mind due this problem and shattered completely. TSH 9.91 T4 Free 1.
Avatar n tn The testosterone and training leave me with a well fit lean body, but with low/no libido. I wish I had some answers for you but you are not alone.
Avatar m tn Hi, I'm a ~41 year old male. I recently had blood work done and found my Testosterone is a little low. The "Free" Testosterone was 45 and the "Total, MS" was 217. It was recommended I get injections every 4 days to get those numbers up to at least 500. In doing a little extra research of my own (because I was curious if there are natural ways to boost my numbers), I can't help but notice a lot of this could be due to diet and alcohol consumption.
Avatar m tn m just wondering, if the damage is permanent, is there any treatment I can undergo, like medications or low testosterone supplements I can take to increase my low testosterone and help me get my sex drive back and get erections without having to touch just to get one.
Avatar m tn The meds the doc gave you will help with the low testosterone levels and yes because of that being low it can effect your sperm count, but at least you know now and are going in the right direction to fix it.
Avatar f tn I have edema, tachycardia, orthostasis, chronic nausea, chronic fatigue, new/developing food allergies, low TSH, high free testosterone, low overall free percentage of testosterone, yellowing of the joints and inner thigh, joint pain, muscle aches, overall aching feeling, stomach distention, loss of appetite, gastroparesis, and previously gastric emptying. What do I have?
Avatar m tn So um.... I'm here because I had this big cyst on my thyroid, but I also have central hypogonadism. It's my impression that doctors in general for psychological reasons really really want to ignore hypogonadism. Anything but that. Also doctors are often very confused and mixed up beliefs. For instance, early pregnancy will stop a young women's growth because of hormones.
Avatar n tn came across a low thyroid problem one year ago and now facing testosterone problems im at total of 304 and I am having sex problems too.I told my regular dr. About sayd it was all in my head tht everything was okay. I went to another place were they do hormone test and took my own list of test I wanted done im not gona lie there were like 20 test I wanted done amr they were just missing 2 tht ran me around $600... I still havent gone to get my results.... by the way im on armour thyroid 30mg.
Avatar n tn No, no accutane.
Avatar n tn I am not a physican but it does seem that your Estroidal is a little high. I am 56 yrs. old with low testosterone. I take self administered testosterone injections every two weeks.Makes me have more energy, libido, and motivation. The only negative side effect for me is that an excess of testosterone will raise the estrogen levels. If I take a small amount of arimidiex-no problems. Hope this helps.
919239 tn?1269394658 In my experience, there is a direct correlation between Depression and Low Testosterone levels. I really recommend going to www.thehiddendisease.com to see some very imformative videos.
484508 tn?1290010544 In depression and hypomanic state there is a depressed mood, disinterest in activities and also low testosterone can occur. Depression can occur due to reduced level of testosterone in the body. So, supplementation with testosterone might help you. Side effects of testosterone therapy if done in excess can lead to neoplasm’s in the genital organs, gonads. Kindly consult an endocrinologist in this regard. Take care.
Avatar f tn I have a low grade temp ranging from 99.4 to 100.6. I feel nauseous most of the time and specially after eating. I become very fatigued and find it hard to concentrate and hard to stay awake. I thought that maybe I was dehydrated and began drinking an excess amount of water (four to five 24 oz bottles of water per day) but not feeling any better. Not sure if you have any ideas of what it could be.
955035 tn?1246539172 "I experience night sweats, constant hip and low back pain, foot pain also the lack of focus" I have these too...how rude...sorry for you to feel like that, but if you get anywhere with it...let me know...My hips and lower back are the worst. I don't have the facial hair thing...Hope I don't, but I am losing hair like crazy. I'm afraid I'll look like my dad before long...

Avatar m tn I have been diagnosed with low testosterone and fibromyalgia. I am 33 and was diagnosed at about 28. I really think I have always had this as a problem, just undiagnosed till now. Can long term low T levels cause muscle fiber deterioration and chronic debilitating muscle pain. Sometimes I couldn't even tell you where it hurts, and I am always sick and ran down. My doc has me on a T cream.
Avatar f tn I am 7 years post treatment and still suffer from liver discomfort, joint pain, aches and emotional mood issues. I know that the treatment was the right thing to do as I was beginning to have severe liver damage. But the long term side effects are not good, and the Doctors seem to hide them. I cleared the virus and continue to be in remission. So I guess in the long run the treatment worked and was worth it.
Avatar m tn t accept that so I went back to the doctor and told him he should pay more attention to my hormones. I was send to an endocrinologist and he measured my Total testosterone again and my TSH, fT3 and fT4. The results where: - TSH 6.8 (0.5 - 3 or 4 is good) - Total testosterone (16 nmol/l) Unfortonately he didn't tell me my fT3 and fT4, but he told me they where still normal but because my TSH is a lot higher now he thinks I might have an auto-immune disease like hashimoto's. However..
