Avatar f tn t kill yourself) and no soda, alcohol or cigarette smoking. The key to losing weight (and keeping it off) is to never diet... diets don't last! Changing your life does! Remember, real changes don't happen over night, things on life worth having takes effort, dedication and time. Good luck!
Avatar n tn Why do you want to be underweight? If you love sports you most likely have a lot of muscle mas making up your current underweight BMI. Get a fat percentage measurement done and you may find that you should actually worry more about properly nourishing and taking care of your body's needs than losing weight. Don't hurt yourself, and your body will continue to play sports. Underweight is not good. http://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/guidelines/obesity/BMI/bmicalc.
Avatar f tn It is normal for some women to loose weight. I lost weight with my first two kids. This time around i've lost 40 lbs and i'm 26 weeks along. My doctor says as long as i'm keeping liquids down thats the most important.
Avatar f tn Anyone know if nutritional drinks are safe I'm losing weight and already small before pregnancy.

Avatar n tn As the first comment correctly stated, losing weight fast doesn't last and leaves you weaker, which you don't want to be if you're getting ready for basic training. Why not wait to join the military until you're ready?
5539486 tn?1369499666 Thanks for the advice. Ive had the ok to exercise since 16weeks post, been losing weight, that extra bit of skin is my main problem. I didnt think about a collagen cream though. I have read about "body wraps" too. People say they work and Ive looked up homemade ones, but I just dont see the point. I get it that you sweat, but thats really just water weight. I dont see how effective it would be. Might try a homemade one at night while I sleep. They say to use cellulite cream?
Avatar f tn That's a hard question, and the only real feedback I can give you is to be patient and keep up what you are doing. If you've lost 27 lb. since December, that is really fast weight loss for someone who is only 5'2" tall. Your BMI is now well within the normal range, so I don't recommend you lose more weight.
Avatar f tn I'm about 13 weeks and keep losing weight. Not sure why. I eat, but i know I'm not getting the calories I need. I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables mostly because that's what's sounds good. I'm also eating a lot of protein too. Anyone else experienced weight loss?
Avatar f tn So I've been on a low calorie diet (less than 1500 calories) per day and working out at the gym for an hour oror more 4 times a week. I'm currently at 147lbs and have been for the last 3 weeks!! Since i started my diet. Has this happened to anyone else. I know it might just be muscle keeping me from losing weight. I would love some advice about working out and losing weight.
11420981 tn?1419993358 The new focus should be on maintaining strength, balance exercises, and light cardio. Please don't try too drop weight actively. It's great to stay active, but not with the goal of losing weight. I hope I just misread what you said?
Avatar f tn Have you seen a change in your appearance or the way your clothes fit? Maybe you're gaining muscle and losing fat which is keeping your weight the same. If that's not the case then maybe you can try to see how many calories you each and find out if it's too much or too little.
Avatar m tn Walk 5 miles every week and work out at the gym with weights. The problem is that I am not losing any weight in the last two weeks. I am keeping my calorie intake around 1200 to 1500 calories daily. I understand that I may be putting on muscle but I am also getting discouraged with not losing weight. When can I expect to see the pounds start to drop off?
Avatar n tn s keeping you from losing weight. By eating regular meals, you can better incorporate a mix of vegetables, protein, whole grains and healthy fats into your diet. Snacking, typically, ends up being fruit, candy bars, crackers, sandwiches, chips and all the things that aren't so good for you and tend to make you, either, gain or hold onto weight.
Avatar f tn Okay let me make myself clear!!! I'm not smoking cannabis right now with my baby girl been clean sincr the get go! But im sooooo curious and have a question? If some doctors recommend cannabis while pregnant can you still get your baby taken away from CPS? That just doesn't make sence too me? Like i said im not currently smokinh i was a smoker prior pregnancy i love my baby girl and would never risk her being taken from me!
Avatar f tn I love the comment "Losing an inch is better than losing a pound" - so true. I think keeping a food diary might be useful - because it would show what you are eating in addition to how much or how many calories they have. Sleep is also more important than a lot of people recognize - studies show that you can lose weight by getting eight hours a night versus the six hours most of us get...
2053729 tn?1330435506 According to what I have researched, my BMR is 2485 and I eat about 1800 calories a day, so I should be losing weight just being me. Add in the approximate 2000 calories I burn with my exercise and I should be melting into a puddle! We do a lot of weights, pilates, abs, pushups, strength bands and squats at my aerobics class so I know my body is changing. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? I have had my thyroid checked in the last 4 months and it was "normal".
Avatar n tn safe weight loss is 1- 2 lbs/week or 4-8 lbs/month. Losing too much weight, too quickly is not healthy and often ends with gaining it back... You don't mention how many calories you're eating/day. If you don't eat enough calories/day, your metabolism will actually slow down in order to conserve existing fat stores.
Avatar f tn ve lost about 4kg in my first 10 weeks of pregnancy.
Avatar f tn I joined a gym and exercised for a year but did not lose a single pound. I am a vegetarian. I diet but instead of losing weight, owing to heavy workout and strength training I got slip disk in L4 and L5. I was on complete bed rest. Ever since I have put on weight. I joined a slimming program but there also instead of losing eight I gained 9 pounds. I have tried everything. I do not have thyroid. My PCOS tests were also normal. Still I cannot lose weight.
Avatar n tn I feel great I am even losing weight after all this, Thank God and everyobe that one way or another was there to support me, Thank you IRD
