Avatar n tn Why do you want to be underweight? If you love sports you most likely have a lot of muscle mas making up your current underweight BMI. Get a fat percentage measurement done and you may find that you should actually worry more about properly nourishing and taking care of your body's needs than losing weight. I have read about "body wraps" too. People say they work and Ive looked up homemade ones, but I just dont see the point. I get it that you sweat, but thats really just water weight. I dont see how effective it would be. Might try a homemade one at night while I sleep. They say to use cellulite cream?

I'm currently at 147lbs and have been for the last 3 weeks!! Since i started my diet. Has this happened to anyone else. I know it might just be muscle keeping me from losing weight. Avatar f tn Have you seen a change in your appearance or the way your clothes fit? Maybe you're gaining muscle and losing fat which is keeping your weight the same. If that's not the case then maybe you can try to see how many calories you each and find out if it's too much or too little.

Hence, if you are not losing weight, you need to find out whether you suffer from any of these. I suggest you eat frequent small meals and stop counting calories. It is best to eat lots of fruits and non-starchy green veggies, go slow on fats, eat carbohydrates in moderation and increase your protein intake (lean cuts, whites of eggs etc).
Avatar f tn That's a hard question, and the only real feedback I can give you is to be patient and keep up what you are doing. If you've lost 27 lb. since December, that is really fast weight loss for someone who is only 5'2" tall. Your BMI is now well within the normal range, so I don't recommend you lose more weight.

Monkey I've gained weight while eating healthy and exercising regularly. I have not reached a fitness plateauand sometimes I do eat or not healthy snacks but it doesn't come out to much. Does anyone else have this problem?
