Avatar f tn Losing 10 pounds in a month means losing 2.5 pounds per week. That translates to a calorie deficit of 1250 kcal per day. Assuming your BMR is 1800 kcal. Your daily intake allowance would be 550 kcal. A safe diet would be eating at least 1200 kcal. That means you should do 650 kcal of exercise. Exercising that much would be tough though.
Monkey I've gained weight while eating healthy and exercising regularly. I have not reached a fitness plateauand sometimes I do eat or not healthy snacks but it doesn't come out to much. Does anyone else have this problem?

At my weight now because of my pre-weight I am considered "high risk", but with my daughter I lost weight in the beginning too so no one is worried. The baby is healthy and so am I. I am sure you are just fine.

Avatar f tn It's very possible to become pregnant while being overweight, although I don't recommend it. Being pregnant can be incredibly hard on the body. The way my midwife and Bradley Method coach said it is that you're basically training for a marathon. Having a fit and healthy body not only helps you during pregnancy, but helps your baby too. I'm considered overweight right now being 5'1 and 157lbs (and that's after losing some weight too).

Last month, I faithfully exercised doing The Firm DVD's 5 days a week and walking at least 30 min. 5-6 days a week. I also stuck to the eating plan all month, with the exception of 2 days. The scale only moved (up and down) within a 3lb range. I am very discouraged. I've lost weight before using Weight Watchers. I haven't exercised like this in years....
Avatar n tn I have been exercising that includes cardio and weight training in a gym resulting in 10-kg weight loss, but lately I have noticed that while lifting weights, although, I exhale, as instructed by the gym instructors, I develop bluish discoloration of my lips, which disappears after bringing the weight down to the relax position. I wonder what is wrong with me and I feel I sweat a lot while doing cardio also. Could you guide me as to why this happens.
