1285110 tn?1420147378 I love my wii fit - think it is the best tool I have in my weight loss battle - it holds me accountable daily - with weight / bmi graphs and of course teh desired calories burned target. So do you use wii fit and if you do what do you do on it?
1400351 tn?1280738019 I have lost 35 pounds since January and most of that was via the Wii Fit Plus and the Wii Active Personal Trainer. I LOVE the Wii Fit Plus because it is fun, you get points for completing the workout accurately and the next time you go on you are challenging yourself to either beat your own score or beat the score of another player!
Avatar f tn My goal is to be a strong women. I am working out using the Biggest Loser Challenge wii game. I am sweating and burning about 300 calories, 40 minutes, 4 days a week. I eat healthy, but not extreme. I would say between 1800 to 2500 calories a day. I am 5'10, mid fifties female 222 lbs. I eat real food, not processed. I know that if I restrict my calories more, I would lose faster. But I have lost 40+ pounds twice before and am affraid of just losing more muscle.
193609 tn?1292180293 I have not been to the gym is forever, which is horrible but when you are paying for day care, its hard to get to the gym lol Anyways, I love how the wii fit records weight and BMI, and tracks how many minutes you have spent on games and stuff! I have such a good time! I just wanted to share!!!
614343 tn?1258041519 There's a Wii game (I guess they call it a game, right?) called "My Fitness Coach". The "coach" named Maya is a bit fakey, but I guess that's not important, and I've had mine for a couple of years, so maybe they've improved her by now. Maya leads you through workouts that you design to fit your mood, environment and choice of music. I think there is also a new yoga dvd out for the Wii. Yoga is my favorite exercise, so that's what I look at most.
Avatar f tn I'm a little confused. Is anyone else losing weight? I'm 11weeks 5days. My weight before pregnancy was 180. 6weeks prego my weight was 168, 8weeks was 161, today i'm at 155. I thought in the beginning it was from morning sickness and being actually sick, but for 3 weeks i haven't had a lot of morning sickness since i started drinking sprite and i haven't been sick. I thought for sure by mid 11 weeks i would have gained at least a pound or two. Am I the only one losing?
1081509 tn?1261546519 Hi there! I am answering this with the expectation that your doctor has told you that exercise is okay for you. I also am on atenolol for tachycardia. I have been for 32 years. I started an exercise program with the Wii Active. My heart rate goes up very easily and after many years of the atenolol controlling it, I didn't like the feeling, even though it was SUPPOSED to get faster. It was something I had to get used to.
616227 tn?1251076398 Ok - I'm here again - no time for Wii Fit today and didn't wear my pedometer ,but does couple hrs grocrery shopping, 6+ hrs of housework (dusting, vaccuuming, scrubbing, etc) count?? Along with that, I'm doing laundry - bedding, so remaking beds, etc. Pllleeeeaassee let it count cuz after a day of those things, I'd almost rather have worked at my daily job plus Wii Fit - it probably wouldn't have been as hard. Have a great evening.
Avatar f tn Hi im 36 years old, weigh 62 kilos (136 pounds) and im 5 foot 2 inches, ive been using the Wii Fit plus for 3 weeks 1/2 hour of jogging and 1/2 doing step with weights for my arms every day, im eating healthy lots of fruit, smoothies and keeping to 1200 calories a day, i am an active person without excercise but have been keeping to my 1 hour a day and im not losing weight, infact my weight goes up and down by 2 pounds nearly everyday!
Avatar f tn well i would do the mall thing only my guys are at the age where they will not sit in their stroller. they have an absolute fit. (they want to walk but still don't know about holding hands and all that....but they're learning) i think i have fit tv on demand. i do plan out what to eat for the week (but doesn't help when my hubby changes everything...or buys the god awful chips....bah). i'm trying to stay away from juice or dilute it with more water.
443968 tn?1288612689 My husband got this new work out called P90X not sure if any of you heard of it but I was stuck at about 160 and I started that that and instantly started losing the weight. I got down to between 145-150 (145 is preg weight) but I have stopped so I haven't lost anymore weight. My issue is my belly still looks at least 2 months pregnant. What can I do to work on that and I do want to lose more weight I want to get back to the weight I was when I got married (135lbs).
Avatar f tn I have also included light exersize at work, and making sure I get up and out of chair at least once per hour at work. As well as using my wii fit and other wii games at home and trying to sleep more regular hours, and eating a low fat high fibre breakfast (I never used to eat breakfast - but would start snacking around 9am until lunch)... and I have not only not lost any stinking weight, but I have gained a few more pounds.
Avatar f tn My husband just bought me a wii. I know there are quite a bit of games out for the wii that gets you up and moving. Maybe I can look into something like that.
566103 tn?1228385767 I've had mine for about 2 1/2 months and I do love it - my biggest problem lately has been lack of time to use it as I've had dr and dentist visits, lab work, etc to get through. Will be so glad when that's all done. I agree with TrudieC - put all you have into the exercises and stay at it regularly.
362249 tn?1441315018 Don't forget you are gaining muscle as you are losing fat!! Am thrilled to hear that you've lost so much weight - how much so far? Wish I could be so lucky.
684175 tn?1295477838 Just keep going - Christmas isn't that far off now and you are already doing so good with your weight loss, don't stop and wait for the Wii!! You'll enjoy it that much more when you get it.
Avatar n tn I keep reading stories about the difficulty of losing weight. I am 40 yrs old and already have 50 lbs to lose and I am afraid of gaining more following the TT. I have had good results in the past with the HCG diet. Of course, I will consult with my doctor before going on any diet...but my question is this...Has there been anyone who has had a TT and had success with the HCG diet? Did it mess up your thyroid levels?
362249 tn?1441315018 For exercise, I should be better than I am but I am improving. I just got a WII Fit this week and have started using it. I really get bored quickly so use it, do some floor exercises, use my exercise ball, and we have an eliptical trainer which I get on. You can even run up and down your stairs. I am actually worried about when I change jobs and am working outside the home that it will be harder. Good luck!
Avatar f tn And I keep working hard but my weight is going back and off, around 120 - 125lbs. Recently I start the wii game (Active), and do more weight/resistant training in my daily exercise. my size is being down, especially my problem zone, the lower body, but my weight is going to and stays at 126-127 lbs. I can see my body is being lean and tone, but my weight is going up. What can I do to keep the weight to 115lbs?
