Did you know it takes about a year for your body to adjust to losing 10 pounds? It's important to remember weight loss is a marathon and not a sprint. In order to lose weight and keep it off, you shouldn't look at it as weight loss but a way to become healthier!

I know people will say "just eat more" but it really isn't that simple. It's problematic for my stomach to adjust to larger portions. My antibiotics are also causing extreme fatigue; I can't exercise regularly like I used to (exercise really helped) and I sometimes skip meals.

Avatar n tn 10 and weigh 22 stones and 7 lbs for the past 3 weeks i have been exercising every day, and have been on a liquid diet, where i am having 1 slimfast milkshake as my daily meal, in the first 2 weeks i noticed that i had lost just over a stone as i was originally 23 1/2, but in the third week i have noticed that i am not losing as much weight, i am currently doing 45 mins cardio on my treadmill, followed by 15 mins on my punch bag, and then i would do weight training for 15 mins.

Tbd HDL or good cholesterol will increase as you want it to not only through diet but especially through exercise. I cannot exercise a whole lot do to a medical condition where I suffer from daily headaches and pressure in my head. Losing weight will actually help this condition. Besides my overall health, this is why it is so important that I lose weight. I have lost weight in the past, but always seem to gain it back. Avatar f tn And once you start losing some weight, you may begin to enjoy exercise a bit more. Start slow with maybe walking at a pace that feels like you are working a little bit. An ipod with music you love helps. Another good way to incorporate some exercise when you don't enjoy it is to get a work out friend. someone that you meet to do it and then you always go because they are counting on you. I got back into the swing of things this way recently but diet is really really key.

I don't eat fast food, I only drink water and juice, and I eat as healthy as possible, exercise daily and can't figure out why I'm still gaining so quick.
