They cut out all processed foods and sugars and replace with non-processed foods... The absence of PROTEIN has been my worry and concern but from what I have read I can transition to being 80% RAW and still eat cooked proteins like, chicken, fish, turkey...

Anyways everything is about detoxing your whole body from waste products... cleaning out your cells and your whole system. Your main foods should really be fruit, vegetables, grains and nuts... and raw. It's really good for me because I can't even force myself to eat all the meat and bread and all the cooked foods anyway!

Avatar f tn If you are willing to try a restrictive diet try the raw vegan diet. It tastes better, it's more nutritious and you will have a far healtier weightloss. If you have only gained "some weight" it will come off quickly AND all raw vegan food is gluten-free except for sprouted grains and oat recipes. I have cut out soda, processed sugars etc. I have reduced myself to what I can grow in my garden and pick up fresh at the grocery store. I am unsure at this point what to do. I know my body was used to working hard during my Marine years and now I cannot dedicate the hours to it, but I feel as though something should have happened by now.

I know there are a few of you that do your own food so I wanted to ask a few questions. :) Some will be opinions but with the research everyone here has done I probably trust you more than the vet at times. 1. Oliver has Kidney disease and the vet put him on the Science Diet KD food- DRY (I know, I know- I hate science diet and he needs moisture not dry) and he won't eat the canned. All 3 really like that food.

You need approximately 1500-1800 calories per day which is spread across 3-5 meals a day with snacks between meals. Moderate fat diet means = use polyunsaturated (omega 3, corn oil, nuts, etc) fats and monounsaturated (olive oil, canola oil, peanut oil, etc) fats, no saturated fats (high fat snack foods, butter, fat spreads) and no trans fats.

Avatar n tn I am not sure what your target weight is, but it sounds to me that when losing the initial amount you developed a healthier relationship to food and stopped using it to handle stress, so now you are a normal eater, eating when hungry, and your own natural body controls are taking over....if you are at , or getting to, the weight you want, then everything seems okay..

Your daily intake allowance would be 550 kcal. A safe diet would be eating at least 1200 kcal. That means you should do 650 kcal of exercise. Exercising that much would be tough though.
