Avatar n tn A good dietary regime and exercises all will be helpful in losing weight. Losing weight in a healthy way is important for maintaining the glow of your skin. Eat lots of fruits, dark green leafy vegetables, fruits and consume less of potato, sweetened and processed foods. Start your day by drinking lemon juice in warm water. 649848 tn?1534633700 AND losing 6 pounds just might be the encouragement I need to keep going to lose the rest of the weight I need to lose…. I’m challenging every one of you to “meet or beat” my goal. All you have to do to join in, is make a commitment to lose at least 1 pound/week. Can’t be *that* hard, right?? Hmmmmmm, we’ll see about that!! LOL So here we go; just post below that you want to join, then start by losing (weight, that is). We will use our Sunday Weigh In thread to keep track of progress.
Avatar f tn well dear being that your so young sleep in the dark you'll grow taller then the weight will situate a little better you can exercise to help with not gaining as well as some small loss of weight and not eating at least 2 hours before bedtime really helps as well. Also all that helthfood craze stuff well get plenty of fiber you can stop by whole food or even a local health store pick up some psyllium husk so that it will help the food stay in your stomach longer.
Avatar n tn Hi everyone, Has anyone had success with curing or reducing GERD by losing weight or reducing breast size? I apologize for this being so long but I want to be thorough in cause my post can help someone with the same unbearable problems. I've been suffering from GERD since last summer... Everything about it was so acute. Which leads me to believe it's because I gained way too much weight fairly quickly and my body could not adjust to it.
649848 tn?1534633700 Who’s ready for bikini time?? I know, I know, some of you still have 20° with snow on the ground and icy roads, but with just over 16 weeks before the first day of summer, there's no time like the present to start getting “fit and fine” for the bikini, bathing suit, sundress, shorts and tank top, or whatever your favorite dress is for summer. Let's not forget the prom, best friend or granddaughter's wedding that might be coming up - we want to look awesome for those, too.
649848 tn?1534633700 SO – in order to get as “fit and fine” as I can, and knowing that small goals aren’t so daunting, I’m committing to losing no less than 1 pound/week for the next 16 weeks – that’s from now till June 21st, which is the first day of summer. Safe weight loss is 1-2 lbs/week and with my medical conditions and the medications I take, I think 1 lb/wk is probably reasonable. I’m challenging every one of you to “meet or beat” my goal.
Avatar n tn First, if you're at all muscular, you're not all that overweight. If you're not muscular, you don't need to lose a ton of weight. Calories aren't key to losing weight -- how quickly and efficiently you metabolize your food into sugar and how well you digest your nutrients is far more important.

172023 tn?1334672284 Hi! I'm Peekawho, CL of the Dieting Community, and the Healthy Cooking Community. I'm popping in to invite any of you to come over and make yourselves at home, have a cup of coffee, read, and contribute if you can. I've personally lost 45 pounds over 6-7 months with simple changes to my diet, and with sensible exercise. It can be done without pills, and without severely depriving yourself. I've been able to cut my BP meds in half after losing weight.

Avatar n tn I am 54 years old and having a difficult time losing weight. During the past 8-9 months, I have not been able to continue my typical exercise regimen due to knee pain and surgery. As a result, I have gained the nine pounds I lost and added 7 more.Approximately two weeks ago, I started to exercise again, managing to workout four days each week, although no change in weight. Any suggestions?

Avatar f tn This went away for a couple years and my metabolism dropped so I started gaining weight and I was petite before and am now average weight for my age. But then during the beginning of summer my metabolism went up I think and my body started throwing off heat but feeling cold again and I have lost over 6 pounds without trying during the summer. Other info is I am 17 years old and i weigh 121 pounds and I weighed 128 before summer started.
Avatar f tn If you are aiming at losing weight, it is important to calculate your current BMI and the target BMI. The target BMI should be in a healthy range. Aside indulging in moderate amounts of physical exercise it is also essential to maintain a healthy diet plan. A healthy diet should consist of adequate amounts of calories with carbohydrates, proteins, fat and plenty of fruits and vegetables to supply vitamins and minerals. Skipping any of the food components is not considered healthy.
Avatar f tn Hi hubby on wk20 on Tues out of 24wk when he finished with the teleprevir his appetite came back but he is still losing weight so far he as lost over 2 stone and we cant understand why when he eating so well.
Avatar f tn I was 215 when i found out i was pregnant andi lost over 20 lbs within my first 5 months ... At 36 weeks i still haven't got back up to 200 (not that i wanted to) but i think it depends on your starting weight ... Just as long as you continue to eat right the weight loss shouldn't b a big deal ...
Avatar f tn Im not over weight im very petite I was 115 before I got pregnant now im 103 and scared as hell...and no I dont have any morning sickess at all just very nausiated (spellcheck) I went to the dietian today and she told me I have to eat every 2hrs...
Avatar f tn I I am 20 weeks today and I have lost 23 lbs so far. I am actually at the dr now so we will see if I have gained any back maintained or lost weight again. Dr isn't worried all the ultrasounds have shown baby is big.
Avatar f tn Yes it's normal to lose weight while pregnant. I lost weight the first trimester and my doctor didn't worry as long as baby is growing. Just eat healthy and stay active! !
Avatar n tn You don't really need to gain if you were over weight when the pregnancy started. Eat healthy meals, normal portions, exercise moderately. You may lose weight naturally as baby takes up some of the excess calories you were consuming. I'd consider yourself weight neutral right now and just eat healthy with proper portion control and not worry about the end result of your weight.
649848 tn?1534633700 I was sick for several days last week (stomach virus), so that was the catalyst for losing weight, I am sure. I just kept it up even when I got well. Now, if I can only KEEP up the weight loss? As the heat and humidity subside, I am usually more successful. I do not do well in either of those, YUCK !
