Avatar n tn t really need to gain if you were over weight when the pregnancy started. Eat healthy meals, normal portions, exercise moderately. You may lose weight naturally as baby takes up some of the excess calories you were consuming. I'd consider yourself weight neutral right now and just eat healthy with proper portion control and not worry about the end result of your weight.

Tbd Hi, depending how long you have had diabetes, and your overall condition, losing weight and changing your diet to a strict low carb diet / keto diet, could possibly put your diabetes into remission or at worst make it very much easier to manage. The principle of low carb diet is restricting carbs, particularly all grains, sugars, starchy veges and sweet fruits, and eating a diet that focusses more on protein, low carb plant foods (veges and non-sweet fruits), some nuts, and healthy fats.
Avatar f tn First if your body is not getting enough foods it can easily go into starvation mode and decide to hold or even gain weight. 1200 calories seems very low, especially given how much you exercise. So maybe you should keep your food around 1300 at minimum? It's hard to know the "sweet" spot that will keep your body healthy while loosing weight, but if you don't find it you will have a really hard time loosing weight.

Secondly, we can't give you a diet plan, because the foods available to me, in FL, USA may not be available to you in India. Third - you can't lose 7 kg in a month... that's over 15 pounds. The most you can hope to lose in a healthy manner is 3.5 to 4 kg in a month...

Of course I have a doctors note saying I'm pregnant and can't be losing lots of weight so my weight doesn't help or hurt the group. Anyways, my sister is in the group as well, as the official weight recorder. She is on my case about my weight constantly!

Try doing a google search or yahoo search on hyperthyroidism and see if the symptoms fit. There's also a possiblility of kidney disease, as well. That could cause weight loss, too, but not hair loss. My main suspicion is hyperthyroid disease. This can be extremely dangerous because the heart rate increases big time. This can cause heart failure.
9397704 tn?1403544160 You can vaginally deliver a big baby but the weight is most likely not from the baby, you could be putting on weight in other parts of your body. If its easily distributed then it wont be as noticeable. My dr said the same thing but im actually measuring small. Ive put on some weight around my bust area but not in my boobs really ive only gained half a cup size but went from 36 to 38 around ive also gained a little in my hips. But its so subtle and evenly distributed that no one can really tell.

Avatar n tn The weight came off very easily for me. I was also breast feeding so I'm sure that helped. I was nervous the 40 lbs I gained would be hard to lose but was pleasantly surprised how fast and easy it came off. I am hoping the same thing happens with my repeat c-section in 6 weeks!
Avatar f tn Hi I am 17 years old and stopped getting my period 2 years ago due to diet of 1200 calories and losing about 5kg (yES not much but I’m not sure why I don’t lose weight easily) however since a month I have upped my intake to about 2000 calories but not gradually and gained VERY quickly 6kgs!!!!! And still NO period. But I am getting cramps? And acne? And my boobs have grown? I am also taking Vitex (Agnes Castus) but not sure if it helps or I should stop?
Avatar f tn There have some good supplements which will help you to lose weight easily. On the other hand, you can try with the natural supplements what I did for myself. Walking in the monring for atelast an hour. And work hard until sweating. I have lost about 4KGs in this way. Thanks!
Avatar f tn I agree that losing 10 kg in a month is too much. Safe weight loss is 1-2 lbs /week, which is 8-10 pounds/month; you're looking to lose twice that. Of course, we'd all like to lose our weight right away, but first off, it doesn't happen that easily, secondly, in order to do it, we'd have to starve ourselves and as soon as we start eating again, we gain it all back. Not good.

Some pregnancies you just don't put on the weight as easily. As long as your not losing tons of weight and your doctors not concerned I wouldn't worry.

I’m 6ft 198lbs I would like to be around 195 but in much better “shape”. My diet ***** and i’m trying to work on it, but I work out at the gym 2-3 times a week lifting weights and running. I dont run a whole bunch though, would that help my problem or will that just make me lose wieght?

2188958 tn?1346444891 I think that was the key to me losing weight, bc as soon as I stopped nursing gained the weight back. My second it took about 6 months to get to my pre-pregnancy weight, and again I stayed skinny until I stopped breastfeeding, then I gained about 15 lbs. With this pregnancy I am much older, and I have gained so much weight already that I doubt I will lose it all very quickly, if at all :/ I plan to work out if I can this time.
