Losing weight naturally

Common Questions and Answers about Losing weight naturally

Avatar n tn t really need to gain if you were over weight when the pregnancy started. Eat healthy meals, normal portions, exercise moderately. You may lose weight naturally as baby takes up some of the excess calories you were consuming. I'd consider yourself weight neutral right now and just eat healthy with proper portion control and not worry about the end result of your weight.
Avatar f tn t think you can raise your metabolism as such, but if your medication is right you will find the weight will shift naturally. I was overweight prior to my surgery, and now 10 months on I have lost a ton of weight. I think if you try to do some walking or gentle excersises to start with you will find it will help. Good luck!
Avatar f tn There's a few things that could be going on, but first, let me state that I'm not a health expert by any means. You are 15, so there is a good chance that part of your weight gain is contributed by the fact that your body is in it's peak growing time. Your bones are growing, your muscles are growing, so naturally your weight will increase.
Avatar f tn If you are not ovulating, it may be due to excess insulin levels, in which case, losing some weight if you are over weight would be very beneficial. If you are underweight, you might try to put on a few pounds. If your tubes are blocked, there is not much you can do, herbally speaking. Just for your information, Clomid and Femara are not particularly costly. If that is your objection.
Avatar m tn Adenosine has been used to treat chronic fatigue and weight loss. I do not recommend losing weight with treatments. If you choose these methods, suggest a maximum weight loss of 3lbs a week and you should be under the guidance of a Doctor.
Avatar n tn I lost a lot of weight before Christmas and I normally find it very easy to do so. Naturally I gained some weight over Christmas, three pounds to be exact, and I lost a pound of that weight. Howeve, I've stopped losing weight and nothing I do will help me lose anymore. Any tips on how I can fix this??!
1961938 tn?1398718101 I am in a weight loss group from before I was pregnant. I'm only still in it because its paid up for another year and I am the assistant weight recorder in it. Of course I have a doctors note saying I'm pregnant and can't be losing lots of weight so my weight doesn't help or hurt the group. Anyways, my sister is in the group as well, as the official weight recorder. She is on my case about my weight constantly!
Avatar m tn I have PCOS and am very thin. I wanted to know if anyone has had success in treating/improving the symptoms naturally (Acne, excess hair, etc) even when already thin. I can't lose anymore weight, so I'm just wondering if dieting to treat IR has helped any thin girls with their symptoms without losing weight. I'm not looking to get pregnant right now, btw. Thanks!
Avatar n tn Does anyone know if you can cure this condition naturally. What about exercise and losing weight. Could that cure this condition/disease. Are there cases of people who have been cured without medical treatment or surgery? There seems to be very little information regarding this disease.
Avatar f tn Diet is first and foremost in losing weight, so the first thing you have to do is make sure your calories are in check. Center your meals around lots of veggies and lean protein. As for exercise, try yoga. You can start slowly and as you become more accustomed to the poses, you can move into them more and more. While the trainer looks like s/he does the poses effortlessly, that's because they do it all the time.
Avatar f tn How can I lose weight overall, but mostly in my thighs. My hips are naturally wide, it runs in my family, but within the past two years I've gotten unfit. My hips are wider and my thighs are bigger. I don't have much of a problem with my stomach. My goal is to make my thighs smaller and lose the cellulite. I'd like to lose about 20 lbs. and tone up my thighs especially. Any suggestions on how to do this? All help thanked!
Avatar n tn Those of us in this forum are dedicated to losing weight naturally through diet and exercise. Wonder if you might consider that approach? There is no "quick fix" when losing weight; it takes time and effort but it is most doable. It's taken me 26 months to lose 152 pounds and I am healthier and happier than I've been in years. Remember ... it wasn't put on overnight and it won't come off that way either.
Avatar f tn I started out at 220 and lost 20 lbs. My mum is also bigger and lost a lot of weight while pregnant. Happened naturally, too. Did t try to lose weight. It just happened! Don't stress, just drink plenty of fluids and eat healthy :) Maybe you'll end up losing naturally and as well!
1046985 tn?1305117048 Yay, finally some good news. Hopefully I will have the same results after my surgery.
Avatar n tn Small fluctuations in weight occur frequently - it is sometimes worth it to think globally about your weight and step back. Your body may naturally fluctuate within a 5-10 pound zone depending on little changes here and there in your diet or the type of exercise you are doing. If you are dead set on losing five pounds, I would start by increasing your water intake, and think carefully about not only how many calories a day you are consuming but what type.
Avatar f tn I commend you on your lifestyle change and healthy eating, however, I don't necessarily think that giving up all animal products is healthy, since that's where we get, virtually, all of our vitamin B-12, much of our calcium and protein, etc. You're planning to lose 50 lbs in just 4.5 months... doable, but not necessarily healthy for a 15 yr old, because your body isn't fully developed yet; you need to be sure you eat enough for proper development.
Avatar n tn I am near in stature. You might be losing muscle because of your eating habits. You should be evaluated by a doctor for a diagnosis. I am underweight, but it fits my bone structure. I'm naturally this weight and have normal eating habits. You are very young--just eat sensibly and take care of your body. You are nowhere near fat--even if you gained 10-15lbs.
Avatar n tn Within the last few months (nine) I have lost a significant amount of weight. I have noticed my hair becoming a bit thinner and possibly a small amount of hair loss (minor). The main change however is the texture of the hair. As I am not a resident this year in the country where my thyroid tests took place I havent been for a check, although I plan to do so soon,(christmas). Could you please give me some quick advice regarding this issue and how to deal with it? Have I overdosed?
Avatar f tn It sounds like you might have a rather large frame, so no, I don't think that losing down to 130, and for sure to 120 would be safe and healthy for you. If your average weight is 136, you might be okay, around that weight. Your body isn't fully developed yet, so you have to be very careful about losing weight. The best tips I can give you are to eliminate sodas, candies, etc from your diet and make sure you get plenty of exercise every day.
Avatar m tn I do not recommend any diet pills or 'fat burners' due to medical side effects which can be serious. At 21 years old you will lose weight naturally with working out and exercise. Remember muscle weights more than fat so the scale may not look like you are losing weight. Use a measuring tape instead, which will show the body is toning and tighten up, and your clothes will feel looser. Thank you for your question.
Avatar n tn as I lost weight (finally) they lowered my dose. That is strange.... if you want to keep losing weight a 9.3 is something to be concerned about. Good luck!
Avatar f tn Water weight? Bloating?... My entire life my weight has significantly fluctuated DAILY! I mean literally, one day I can fit into a pair of pants, the next I can't, the next I can. It is visible, probably more to myself than anyone else, but it also is even worse weekly. Fluctuating 5-10lbs back and forth weekly. What helps?
