N u would look health skinny and not the sick skinny you get when fat is lost to quickly. I was 210 and I lost 40 pounds in 6 months.

Avatar f tn Hi Meggiemariee, I just read your comments. It's already April 23rd. You say your average weight loss is about five pounds. That's an awful lot in one week, Meggiemariee. Instead of putting that kind of pressure on yourself, i.e. your goal of losing 24 lbs by the end of may or early June. That's too much weight in such a short period of time. I would not advise it.

I went from massive fruit cravings, to eating pancakes now and then, to eating portions about half a sandwhich, and now, I can barely eat a piece of toast. I was drinking ensure to make up for what I havn't been eating, but now I can't stomach even that. I feel so hungry and everytime I try to eat, my stomach screams in pain at me and I usually end up throwing it up.
Avatar n tn I'm sure that's true. But since Hollywood stars are nutty anyways, anything they say or do should be ignored. Any legitimate source will tell you: Never take thyroid meds for the purpose of losing weight. Not only is it ineffective, it can be dangerous.

Safe weight loss is 1-2 pounds/week, not 1 pound/day. Weight loss pills are not meant for long term use and most people find that the weight comes back within a short period of time, once they stop taking the pills. Each time weight is lost and regained, it's harder to lose the next time...

1467664 tn?1288579313 m 5/5)and at one point was 81 pounds(yuck) I lookwd gross and felt worse.but in answer to losing weight the healthy way and not only am I a type 1 I also am a personal trainer.Timing meals ,excercise and insulin are important.Cutting out carb stotally is not a good idea because your body does need the enrgy especially when you are workinh out.Not sure what dose you are on but once you start a workout plan you will see your needs decrease .

The now weight of 175 lbs. is a loss of 17 lbs. in less than 3 weeks after leaving the hospital. Funny thing is, my appetite is ravenous, my blood tests all came beck fine last week, as well as still cleared of Hep C. My energy level is normal I've heard somewhere that because muscle weighs, it has to be taken into consideration when weighing someone.

Avatar n tn If you're really losing and not gaining back you must be so thin. It's normal for the body to increase a few pounds before a lot of times because we crave salt which retains water in the body. During a period many bloat adding weight then when it's done that water weight, blood and bloat go down. I fluctuate 5 lbs or so. I have an irregular period so seeing a few pounds go on is sometimes a clue for me that I'm going to start soon.

Avatar m tn I was wondering if any of the prescriptions I take, may be making it harder for me to lose weight? In fact i've gained about 45lbs since last year. This year some of my prescriptions have changed. I am now taking 60 mg of Paxil last year it was 40 mg. I am taking lisinopril and diclofenac and 50 more mg of atenolol. I believe I am getting about the same amount of exersise as I was last year if not more. Thank you.
