My hips are wider and my thighs are bigger. I don't have much of a problem with my stomach. My goal is to make my thighs smaller and lose the cellulite. I'd like to lose about 20 lbs. and tone up my thighs especially. Any suggestions on how to do this? All help thanked!
7874959 tn?1395945321 Hello, I too live in the UK. I have arthritis in my spine and early arthritis in both my hips. At the moment I am in severe pain. Ibuprofen did not help me as it gave me an internal bleed. I refused spine injections, and I do not like taking strong painkillers. I take paracetamol and try to keep supple. I have always liked walking, but lately I cann ot even do that comfortably. Been crying today with the pain.

If you try to hold on to your childhood figure you may end up looking very unhealthy despite being thin.
Avatar m tn now I am back to diet and exercise (I am eating more, but the exercise makes me hungry, but its mainly more fruit, bigger salad, etc...) and I am losing weight but slower than when I did not even notice that I was losing weight. I have dieted before and I have NEVER seen myself lose weight when I was not focused. I don't get it. I am not sick or anything and I am only on allergy medication (I don't even take it much).

She has never been a dog that ate very much, usually id fill her large bowl up maybe 3 times a week. She has slowed down eating her pedigree senior formula food and really only eats it when milk or table food is mixed in with it. Should this be taken as a sign that she no longer likes her food, she is also getting into the garbage more often.
Avatar f tn Do not use the weight scale because as you build lean body muscle mass it will not show you are losing weight. Use a measuring tape and measure your bust, waist, and hips for trimmer waist and hips. Your clothes are a great indication that your getting trimmer and not the scale.

I'm in the military and I reallly don't want to buy all new uniforms, I have 3 weeks but doubt it's happening. Lol thanks in advance!

Avatar n tn Wow Congratulations on your weight loss, I think it might be worth having a trip to the doctors to check everything is in order, How did you lose weight? some aches and pains will be because of the weight loss, I lost 154lbs in 18 months on my own,I dont get any real pain except when i sit on my butt to long, not got so much padding there anymore, lol.

I plan on going back to bikram yoga in another 2 months when the twins are on solids and I can leave them for 2 hours at a time. My goal is to be back in a size 4 by September. When you begin an exercise program, you begin building muscle, so even though you aren't losing pounds, you might be losing inches. You might want to take your measurements - waist, bust, hips, thighs, arms - you might actually be getting smaller. You might also want to think about getting your thyroid tested to make sure it's functioning properly since hypothyroidism is a major cause of weight gain.

But I have been trying but have had problems losing the weight,I had gained about 28 lbs, my height is 5in. I recently got really determined and lost 10 lbs and needing to lose another 20 lbs! The other option was to do surgery and to be in a wheelchair and have to learn to walk again but my mom opted out and today, I'm fine! (Now 29) I'd get a second opinion. I know Down's kids muscles are different as well but thought I'd share that with you.

That's what I assumed, but my husband looked at them last night and he does not think they are stretch marks. I've included a picture.

1396846 tn?1332459510 I have been on lyrica for a while now. My doctor has increased the doseage and I am gaining weight in my stomach like crazy. Not sure what is going on with that, I don't want to gain any more weight than I am already carrying, which is alot. Next week I will be starting a heart healthy diet, my mom lives with me and has been seeing a cardiologist, so I figure that may help. If the diet doesn't help I may have to stop taking the lyrica.

I use creams and lotions not hoping to prevent but at least hoping they'll go away easier. Im a first time mom and want my body back lol any moms have advice for losing the weight and fading the battle scars?!
