Gradually increase the amount of food that you are cutting down. Once you are accustomed to eating a smaller amount, try to begin eating a little healthier. While you are getting healthy, it is important to exercise as well. Always check the ingredients, calories, fat, carbohydrates, and vitamins of the food you buy.

A healthy way to eat is a Heart Healthy diet which means a moderate fat diet to benefit your body. Moderate fat diet means = use polyunsaturated (omega 3, corn oil, nuts, etc) fats and monounsaturated (olive oil, canola oil, peanut oil, etc) fats, no saturated fats (high fat snack foods, butter, fat spreads) and no trans fats.

While you might lose a considerable amount of weight on it, which might be nice, the chances of gaining it all back, once you go off the med are extremely high. I can't think of anyone I've ever known, who would stick to such a "diet" for any length of time.

Did you know it takes about a year for your body to adjust to losing 10 pounds? It's important to remember weight loss is a marathon and not a sprint. 542730 tn?1234673838 Hi, I wanted to let you know that diets don't work, u will just regain the weight and more at some point, u need to change the way u eat for life, u don't need to give up all the yummies either a treat once a week isnot going to hinder any weight loss, weight watchers , Inches they are great places and resources to go to , they may feel likle there expensive , but I am telling u they work, I have a friend who weight watchers got her to her goal and then some and she has stayed that way f

If you have a higher starting weight and you are losing weight because you are eating healthier and exercising than your okay. If your doctor says its okay, you should be fine. Plus you have more than half your pregnancy ahead of you to gain some of that weight back. Don't stress, i am sure you'll be fine.
1467664 tn?1288579313 m 5/5)and at one point was 81 pounds(yuck) I lookwd gross and felt worse.but in answer to losing weight the healthy way and not only am I a type 1 I also am a personal trainer.Timing meals ,excercise and insulin are important.Cutting out carb stotally is not a good idea because your body does need the enrgy especially when you are workinh out.Not sure what dose you are on but once you start a workout plan you will see your needs decrease .
