4945970 tn?1361450429 I'm 12wks 5dys is it normal to lose weight instead of gaining I'm not trying to lose weight but I have lost 12pounds Is that normal?
Avatar f tn I went to the doctor a couple weeks ago but last night I got on the scale and it shows that im losing weight instead of gaining weight (and i eat alot!) I only lost like .8 lbs but still it makes me paranoid. Why am i losing weight instead of gaining?
Avatar f tn It's also possible that 166 was not an accurate weight or was due to water weight. Not that gaining 6 lbs in a week is impossible, but it's unlikely. That would require an extra 3000 calories per day. Extra. I doubt you're eating 4500-5000 calories per day. :) More likely, you were closer to 161-162 last week aside from water weight, so the 163 this week is right on target.
Avatar f tn I am a little concerned as to why i am losing weight. I lost 7 pounds, what should i do? Is that healthy? Is it normal?
Avatar f tn If you have extra weight on before your pregnant you usually lose weight at the start or stay the same weight which is what happened me, I was losing weight as he.
4193337 tn?1355698372 t stopped eating or anything but I do force myself to drink lots of water and am back to eating tons of fruit. Is this safe that I am losing weight? This is my second pregnancy and I know during the last few weeks you can lose a few but I am still a ways away from that. Any thoughts?
Avatar n tn "yo yo" dieting (losing weight in a rapid manner, then gaining it all back and then some) is a very unhealthy practice as it stresses our bodies. Have you figured out why you overeat, (which later leads to the compulsion to lose weight)? I find with a lot of people (myself included) it's from some combination of anxiety / boredom. Address those issues in a non-food way, and you may have found your long term solution.
Avatar f tn So my dr told me that I am losing weight today at my appointment. I know its natural in the first trimester but my dr is concerned and says I need to start gaining. Problem is I am never hungry. I eat a small meal at lunch time and feel completely stuffed the rest of the day/night. Anyone have any suggestions?? I'm already high risk, I don't want anything else to happen too!
Avatar f tn Ill be 6 months this month should I be be concerned that I'm not really gaining weight?
9455625 tn?1412820762 No losing weight is actually normal if not in excessive amounts
Avatar f tn Idk your not supposed to lose weight in pregnancy. I mean sOme ppl get really sick and help it but you really shouldn't lose just to lose. You should talk to your doctor about it.
Avatar f tn My doctor wants me to loose weight but its cause I am over weight. I lost 3 ponds but gained it all back plus more. So it depends if you are healthy then you shouldn't loose weight.
Avatar f tn Im 15 weeks and ive been losing weight instead of gaining it...is that normal?
Avatar n tn I am 9 weeks pregnant and this is my first pregnancy and instead of gaining weight I am losing weight. I haven't had any nausea or vomiting in the past 2 days but I am still losing weight. I am scared that this could affect my baby. Is there something wrong or is this normal ?
Avatar f tn Diet aids such as Releana are not the best way to lose weight. While you might lose a considerable amount of weight on it, which might be nice, the chances of gaining it all back, once you go off the med are extremely high. I can't think of anyone I've ever known, who would stick to such a "diet" for any length of time.
3195777 tn?1345124487 The thyroid controls metabolism and if it malfunctions, losing weight is nearly impossible. Both weight gain/inability to lose and high cholesterol are classic symptoms of thyroid malfunction, as is constipation, fatigue, dry skin/hair, hair loss, joint/muscles aches/pains, and a lot of others. You could have a postpartum hypothyroidism, which is often temporary, but still requires replacement medication.
Avatar f tn i am 14 weeks and 18 years old. i am having trouble with gaining weight and cant seem to stop losing and im eating more then i use to. what am i doing wrong??
Avatar f tn So I had an ultrasound today again, I'm about 11 weeks. In the last month I've lost about 8 lbs. I was a little bigger before my pregnancy. I haven't been vomiting or anything but I've been losing weight. The baby's heart beat and everything was normal. Have any of you other ladies lost weight during pregnancy without throwing up? I'm kind of worried.
Avatar f tn They say long has your not gaining alot of weight in a short amount of time your fine
Avatar n tn It's diet and exercise!!
Avatar f tn -( I hope I'm not hurting the baby. I eat lil snacks but get to nauseas to eat a meal. But i do drink about 10 large glasses of water a day so I don't get dehydrated. Any other woman lose weight before gaining?
Avatar f tn hi im 9 weeks today n instead of gaining weight ive lost 12 lbs I have 2 girls already n had no problems so im really worried. is this normal?
Avatar f tn Is it normal that I've lost like 10 to 12 pounds since my pregnancy I'm 15 weeks pregnant. I mean don't get me wrong I like the idea of losing weight instead of gaining it. But still concerned about my baby.
Avatar f tn Baby is pulling in all the nutrients it needs and that is partly why you feel so miserable and lose weight sometimes. My daughter was born 7 pounds and healthy. I ended up gaining what I lost plus 20 by the end of my pregnancy. You and baby should be just fine! Hope you feel better though, morning sickness is so miserable.
