You probably didn't gain it fast, so you can't expect to lose it fast either. 15 lbs is too much to expect to lose safely in one month, but you can get started and lose as much as possible. The 3 areas that are the most important for weight loss, seem to be the 3 areas in which you're the least flexible. Those are diet, exercise and sleep.

Use your Food Journal to log everything you eat, don't lie you will hurt yourself only. Remember you are too young to have this weight and yes it will come off but it's going to take work..... I was not big to begin with about 130 and currently almost down to 100.suffered for years with an eating disorder and it resurfaced recently worse than ever. was hospitalized with vomiting blood recently and after released I have no choice but to vomit after every little sip or bite of anything because even if I wamted to keep it down my body forces it out.

Avatar f tn The weight gain will be similar with Depo provera and Micronor more or less. This is one of the side effects of hormonal contraception. Losing weight should not be the criteria to make you switch to Micronor. Weight issues can be tackled with dietary modification and exercise. You can continue with Depo if you and your Doctor find it suitable. Hope this helps. Take care.

Safe weight loss is considered to be 1 to 2 lbs/week (1 lb = 0.453 kg), so the most you should lose in one month would be about 10 lbs or 4.53 kg... You'd need about 7 weeks to lose 15 kg or 33 lbs, safely, if you work at it diligently.

Your daily intake allowance would be 550 kcal. A safe diet would be eating at least 1200 kcal. That means you should do 650 kcal of exercise. Exercising that much would be tough though.
