Avatar f tn Yes, 4 lbs in 3 days is too much............ Why are you trying to lose weight? Here's the weights for your height...........
Avatar f tn In the first 4 months of my pregnancy i kept losing weight. Not alot but every appt i would be 2 or 3 lbs less than the last appt. Im now almost 35 weeks and have gained a total of 23lbs. I also am a thick girl. 5'6 and started my pregnancy at 203. If youre doctor isnt concerned then you shouldnt be. It happens to alot of women.

Avatar f tn I agree ^ that's s lot of weight in a couple of days. I lost weight my first trimester due to depression and nausea but nothing that drastic sooo soon.
Avatar f tn Since a pound equals 3500 calories, losing 4 pounds of fat in 3 days would be a pretty tall order. It must be noted that a 16 yr is not fully developed, and must be careful not to cut calories too much.
Avatar f tn Losing weight isn't about silly ideas or having it fall off fast. You probably didn't gain it fast, so you can't expect to lose it fast either. 15 lbs is too much to expect to lose safely in one month, but you can get started and lose as much as possible. The 3 areas that are the most important for weight loss, seem to be the 3 areas in which you're the least flexible. Those are diet, exercise and sleep.
Avatar f tn I need to lose weight in 10 days, someone can give me some advice and tips ?
Avatar n tn m fatter than them. I have 63kg and 168cm. Any advice for losing weight fast and healthy? Any advice for exercises?
Avatar n tn As we exercise we build lean body muscle mass which weight more than fat so the scale reflects no weight loss when in fact the body is trimming down fat. Measure your waist and hips as a guide for trimming down. The tape measure will measure loss of inches and your clothes will start to feel looser. As long as the body is toning up, there is weight loss.
Avatar f tn Safely losing 25 pounds by December is impossible. I'm not sure how you've lost the 35, so far, but if you're stuck, try changing your routine. Increase/decrease your exercise and calorie intake. If you continually do the exact same thing, your body gets used to it and simply expects that. Changing your routine every few days will keep things more "upset", so your body won't have a chance to get used to it.
594189 tn?1386916607 Well... the recommended amount of weight per week is 1-2 pounds. Just wanting to ask, do you exercise and follow a healthy meal plan?
Avatar n tn Its also normal to put on a little weight at this stage, If you want to look good then embrace this and keep up the sports, Focus on fitness not weight. if you do will find that weight to be the right shape and in the right places. If you try to hold on to your childhood figure you may end up looking very unhealthy despite being thin.
Avatar f tn Is your doctor concerned? How fast did you lose this? 5 pounds isn't much, and you're still early. Most weight gain doesn't occur until later in the second and third trimester.
Avatar n tn As the first comment correctly stated, losing weight fast doesn't last and leaves you weaker, which you don't want to be if you're getting ready for basic training. Why not wait to join the military until you're ready?
5891248 tn?1406410864 I don't think u should try to lose weight... If ur gaining weight too quickly try changing ur eating habits... When ur pregnant u should never try to lose weight..
865758 tn?1285952904 i understand. you're not alone. i'm tapering off of synthroid (112 to 88). my symptoms are worst than when i was hyper or extremely hypo. it makes me think that the fluctuations cause a lot of strange symptoms. here are my symptoms since tapering...they sound similar to yours... first, extreme vertigo (and i'm still have dizziness), heart palps (worst than when i was hyperthyroid...who would've thought...
10286987 tn?1410261849 Drink 4-5 bottles of water a day and cut out fast food, eating late at night and junk food. that is it for now. Write me in a month and we will do this together OK. Use your Food Journal to log everything you eat, don't lie you will hurt yourself only. Remember you are too young to have this weight and yes it will come off but it's going to take work..... I wish you the best...
Avatar f tn there are tons of websites out there that can help you determine how many calories you need to reach a particular weight goal. oh, also remember that losing weight is a lifestyle change, not a quick fix overnight deal. so stay positive, keep at it and good luck! you'll get there.
Avatar f tn I lost weight during my first pregnancy so I would say its normal :) dont worry.
