I'm really up for losing weight but its just so hard for me I've tried so many things & don't really see results so I give up. I want to go to a dietician or a fat camp I don't care I jus want to loose weight. Please help me!
Avatar n tn I know the feeling. There is always a tomorrow or next week when it comes to proactively losing weight. And if I feel overweight then yes I want the weight gone yesterday. Some advice. Don't drop the weight quickly, this is rarely a long-term solution. If I took time and had the mental discipline I could have lost weight many times over. Do it once, do it right. Issues with weight and body image are taxing (emotionally, physically and financially) and demoralizing.
Avatar n tn t really need to gain if you were over weight when the pregnancy started. Eat healthy meals, normal portions, exercise moderately. You may lose weight naturally as baby takes up some of the excess calories you were consuming. I'd consider yourself weight neutral right now and just eat healthy with proper portion control and not worry about the end result of your weight.
Avatar n tn It sounds like you're doing the basic things to help you lose the weight by cutting calories and exercising. One thing you can add to help break down the fat and move it out is b12 lipotropics (either pill form or injections). I've struggled badly with excess weight because of Hashimoto's disease, so it's a bit harder for me to lose to begin with. But adding these two things to my regimen have really helped.

I started out taking it once a day in the morning. Then later twice per day. I helps me to control how much I eat. I started in January and now I'm 37 pounds down. But before I started to take this medicine I got away from red meats, sweets, white bread. Basically carbs all around. That got me into a good eating habit.

The only problem I'm having is losing too much weight. I was 58kg when I started and now I'm 51kg, this is too skinny for me. What can I eat to gain some weight that won't ruin my diet? Avatar f tn You are 15, so there is a good chance that part of your weight gain is contributed by the fact that your body is in it's peak growing time. Your bones are growing, your muscles are growing, so naturally your weight will increase. Now, seeing that your diet consists of a small breakfast and dinner would concern me, because you may not actually be giving enough of what it needs.
Avatar f tn If you don't have issues with dairy, I would think the dressing would be fine. It's all about making better substitutions and variety and not overdoing portions. Sugar snap peas are also another finger food vegetable that's fun. You might light raw green beans also. Sabra hummus is good for dipping.

( im a choco-holic.. and i love food).... will i still loose weight by only cutting out the soda and modeatly exercising? right now im at 241.. yikes!!! and this is just not acceptable.. i had a baby 8 months ago and cant seem to get rid of the extra weight..
Avatar f tn That means you'd have to lose 40 lbs in just 3 months; I don't think you can do that safely. Safe weight loss is 1-2 pounds/week. The first thing to do is stop eating all junk food, such as chips, candies, sodas, pastries, white bread and regular pasta, etc. At age 16 your body isn't fully developed, so you have to be careful of losing weight too quickly.
Avatar f tn I am now SVR (over 1 year now) and while on meds (Jun - Dec 2014) I lost about 25 lbs but eating a liver friendly diet, cutting out all sugar, watching my portions, and have continued to follow that diet, although a little more relaxed about ice cream, etc (still no candy). I am now down 35 lbs, and plan to continue my life style change - eating better and walking more. I truly believe that may have helped me not have problems as I was overweight - still am, to a degree.
20801560 tn?1512718136 I had an operation a few months back and since then I've been losing a lot of weight. I've calculated by BMI and apparently, I'm underweight, almost severely. I know people will say "just eat more" but it really isn't that simple. It's problematic for my stomach to adjust to larger portions. My antibiotics are also causing extreme fatigue; I can't exercise regularly like I used to (exercise really helped) and I sometimes skip meals.

Some weeks are better than others, but I get these periods for about a week that I feel so bloated and it just doesn't seem to go away - not even with medication. I have been to a specialist doctor who did blood tests and said everything was o.k. I even went to my gynie to see if he can't help me.
