Avatar n tn t gain any more weight. I trained , bicycling, jogging... but I can`t see any change and its been 7 months with no luck. Maybe it is the stress that is losing my weight , since now I have never took no pills because I was always very healthy man. because I like nature and I have been so close to it and since I remember I ate natural food, thats why I didn't need no doctor (my mom is a nurse too) . My mom says it is from stress.
Avatar n tn Remember, if you do resistance training your thighs might not get any smaller, though they will get stronger and more toned. You could just have large thighs -- people come in all shapes and sizes -- but if it's in fact excess weight, then you have to look at what you're eating. I'd personally think that cardio would be best for losing weight, whereas weight training is best for turning fat into muscle, but proper nutrition is necessary for it to work optimally.

It could be your natural shape or it could be muscle depending on what kind of activities you've done in your life, such as bicycling a lot or running or playing soccer, all of which will give you more muscular calves.

My doctor a first had no concern and suggest as long as I gain the 25+pounds by the end ill be fine. But now it has become an concern. Did you know it takes about a year for your body to adjust to losing 10 pounds? It's important to remember weight loss is a marathon and not a sprint. In order to lose weight and keep it off, you shouldn't look at it as weight loss but a way to become healthier!

Avatar f tn As far as exercise goes, get into a walking program, walking 30 to 45 minutes per day. You can do this outside in your neighborhood, if it is safe, or in a park, weather permitting, or just inside from room to room, up and down stairs, if you have them. Of course, you can substitute other exercises such as bicycling, swimming, tennis, and so on on certain days. If you have someone you can do these with, so much the better, so you can motivate each other. Cut out all sugary beverages.
