Avatar n tn My husband is suffering with kidney stones and he got surgery for 3 times (only right kidney and left kidney is normal and no stones and it is functioning properly) and after that his body got swollen completely and after many checkups including biopsy, it is determined that he is losing proteins due to the dysfunction in the filteration of Kidney. Now he is loosing 11 gms of proteins when he undergone protein loss check up. His legs, stomach and face is completely swelling.

I certainly would like my Dr. to change my file from diabetic to ' history of diabetes' and that's my goal but.... My turn to google yoga and ayurveda.
Avatar f tn But if you mean fat from a body it can be done only by burning it (apart from the surgery). You can burn the extra fat by creating the deficit of you daily calories allowance - dieting and/or by doing exercises. Combination of both of them works the most efficient.
Avatar n tn dont go for anything in anxiety of remedy cos everthing except ayurveda has got the side effects....so be careful.....there are some combopacks of ayurveda....which can be very helpful and can relieve u from all this sooner.in such a way that it cant come again but u need to take some restreictions with that...moreover this is not expensive....u wont need insurance at all for this....

Did you know it takes about a year for your body to adjust to losing 10 pounds? It's important to remember weight loss is a marathon and not a sprint. In order to lose weight and keep it off, you shouldn't look at it as weight loss but a way to become healthier!

1467664 tn?1288579313 A couple thoughts, Sam. Have you been checked for thyroid? Thyroid disease is more common with us type 1's and that could make it very hard to lose weight. Do get a simple blood test for your thyroid fuction. One sure way that type 1's gain weight is to go by the philosophy of "eat whatever I want and bolus for it". That means more carbs, more insulin, more weight and possible development of insulin resistance which you do not want!
